The jerky's appear to have worms in them and I was disgusted upon first opening the package. I reached out to the company and they assured me that , "Some jerky flavors (spicy) include **pepper seeds **that can sometimes become translucent from the marinade process. These seeds can look a lot like tiny **worms,** but rest assured they are definitely not!" I appreciate the response and clarification and hoping that they taste good.

The box was cute, but the jerky pretty much all tasted the same. I was looking forward to the root beer, totally disappointed just tasted like just plain jerky. If the person you are buying it for likes store bought jerky then they might like this, but it’s pretty pricey when you are only really getting about 5 sticks of jerky for $39!
