‘General Hospital’ alum Steve Burton, pregnant wife didn’t have prenup

Steve Burton and Sheree Gustin’s divorce could possibly turn even uglier now that it’s been revealed they don’t have a prenup in place.

The estranged couple’s divorce documents, obtained by Page Six, show that they did not sign a prenuptial agreement prior to tying the knot on Jan. 16, 1999. They also never signed a postnuptial agreement.

The documents, filed in Orange County Superior Court, state that the “General Hospital” alum and Gustin, who is pregnant with another man’s baby, will consider all property acquired by Burton prior to the marriage and after the date of separation, which was March 1, to be his.

“All property acquired by [Burton] during marriage by gift or inheritance” should also be considered solely his, per the docs.

The soap opera actor, 52, is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their two minor children: 16-year-old Jack and 8-year-old Brooklyn. They also share 18-year-old Makena.

Burton filed for divorce from Gustin, 45, on Friday after sharing with fans in May that the fitness pro was pregnant with her fourth child — but this one wasn’t his.

“I wanted to clear something up. Sheree and I are separated,” his post began. “She recently announced that she’s expecting her 4th child. The child is not mine.”

He continued, “We are still co-parenting our three beautiful kids. We would appreciate privacy at this time. Much luv, Steve.”

Gustin has yet to address the divorce or Burton’s claims.

Burton admitted in November 2021 that he was fired from “General Hospital” after refusing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. He was a part of the soap series since 1991, playing Jason Morgan for the past three decades.
