    Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is an exceptional game and a worthy successor. The game exhibits extraordinary graphics and realism that many fans seek. It is more of the same seen in the franchise over the years but with refined features. All the added game modes and the content that is to come promises to give us long but entertaining hours immersed in the game.

    Some early technical and content shortcomings aside, the nostalgic single-player campaign and typically exciting Call of Duty multiplayer make sure that Modern Warfare II conveys the same and more intense emotions as its "Not Balanced for Lean" progenitor back in 2009.

If the IW team can solve the vicious problems that greatly affect the game experience, and continue to introduce interesting new content in the after seasons, I'll be willing to spend hundreds of hours on it.

    It's not unplayable, but there are so many flaws that consistently and almost constantly crop up. The lack of post-launch support makes it feel as though Call of Duty is a victim of its own success, and it really doesn't matter what state it's in or how quickly it gets fixed because millions of people have already purchased it, and it'll all be forgotten before the launch of the next one. My hope is that the players won't be simply taken for granted going forward, but in the meantime, Modern Warfare II certainly subscribes to the mentality of, "Screw it. People are going to buy it anyway."

    There is a great multiplayer experience in Modern Warfare II, due to its careful movement and strong gunplay, but with an uneven campaign and terrible co-op, the franchise has been better equipped in previous battles.

    The weapons and sound design are top notch. Most maps are great as well. The campaign is fun and diverse, but a little hit and miss with its concepts and pacing. Looking forward to DMZ and warzone now, even if battle royal is a tired genre at this point.
    As usual with any COD, there is a lot of yelling from all sides, because they can never meet everyones expectations. And there is A LOT OF expectations on such an iconic and successful franchise.

    Probably the worst Call of Duty game to date, and probably my least favorite game I've played on in recent memory.

    - Maps are terrible    Probably the worst Call of Duty game to date, and probably my least favorite game I've played on in recent memory.

    - Maps are terrible except for maybe 2,
    - Tons of stuttering whenever you fire or get into combat which makes playing nearly impossible
    - The TTK combined with training wheel aim assist makes controllers pretty much the only way to play effectively in higher tier lobbies.
    - The unlock tree is the most ridiculous one I've seen
    - The campaign is laughable and they tried so hard just to cram every character from the CoD series they could in it
    - Freezes anytime a game is about to start

    IW has how many developers working on this game, and this is the best they could come up with??    … Expand
