The 2024 March Madness bracket is reaching its conclusion as the Final Four teams are preparing for action to resume tonight, April 6. UConn and Alabama booked their tickets to Arizona last Saturday, while Purdue and NC State joined them on Sunday.

March Madness Final Four predictions
NC State vs Purdue picks and predictions
Purdue has far better analytics over the entire season but the Wolfpack have made huge strides on both ends of the floor over the last month. They are 9-0 SU and 7-2 ATS in their last nine games with underdog wins against UNC, Marquette, and Duke (twice) during that span. As dominant as the Boilermakers have been they're just 5-13 ATS when favored by more than seven points against Power Six opponents this season. Zach Edey is unstoppable but with 275-pound center D.J. Burns and 6-foot-10 forward Mohamed Diarra the Wolfpack can at least slow him down and make him work on defense. NC State is also holding foes to just 28.4 3PT% since the end of the regular season and if the Boilermakers can't catch fire from deep they won't cover this spread.

Alabama vs UConn picks and predictions
This is the wrong matchup for Alabama. It takes 3-pointers on 46.6% of its field goal attempts, and with good reason, shooting 37.1% from long range. UConn both discourages 3s and limits made 3s, ranking No. 28 in the country in giving up a 30.9 percentage against from beyond the arc. All that can be said in the inverse, too, except UConn’s 2-point offense is efficient enough to create a balanced offense. Tristen Newton and Donovan Clingan should assure this double-digit cover.
