British Airways is increasing its non-stop service to London by adding a second daily flight between San Diego International Airport and London Heathrow Airport. The second daily flight offers more options and convenience for our customers, as well as giving customers the opportunity to enjoy our award-winning Club Suite cabin on select services. As British Airways celebrates 70 years of flying to Chicago, we have moved our departures from Terminal 5 to Terminal 3 at O'Hare International Airport. The move means an enhanced travel experience for customers with dedicated check-in desks and improved connections within the American Airlines network. Arrivals will remain at Terminal 5. 27 years ago, an incredible story inspired a small group of British Airways pilots to fund their own disabled flying scholarship. From this, the HighFlight charity was born. Since then HighFlight has sponsored 50 people to learn to fly, and this year the charity is relaunching to help even more disadvantaged people achieve their potential. We invited former HighFlight scholar, Alvin, to fly a Boeing 787 simulator and to share the story of how the charity changed his life.
