Scaling regenerative agriculture in Europe with Climate Farmers. Co-founder of Love Foundation, VCA NL & Hug Records. TED Countdown & BMW Responsible Leader. Studying regenerative culture & regenerative leadership.
When I speak about regenerative agriculture I mostly focus on the importance 0f soil health. An elemental part of this are Mycorrhizal fungi, who are essentially the builders of the transport infrastructure below the surface level. They build the highways on which all the trading happens. The traded goods range from carbon over a variety of nutrients to water and at the same time the highways also have a positive effects on the physical structure of the soil. All of this can be very difficult to imagine, which is why I love the graphic below. Thanks to Michał Słota for showing to me. #regenerativeagriculture #climatefarmers #soilhealthmatters

Life-giving mycorrhizal trade routes are essential to #soil #health which, in turn, determines the level of #nutrition in our #food sources. The graphic here is a wonderful description of the relational process infrastructure that supports the origins of our food supply.

Yes, I look at soil being our foundation. A solid foundation to support a healthier ecosystem or crops. This is a great graphic to illustrate this. #prairiecirculareconomy #regenerativeagriculture #sustainability #resilience

Enthusiastic environmentalist working in sustainable drainage and water management. Proponent of nature based solutions and circular economic strategies.
A strategy for catchment based flood mitigation is improving our soils. Healthy soils infiltrate more water with diverse plants and fungi, soaking and slowing rainfall. Fix our food production, fix our landscape and hopefully be more resilient to climate change.
