I bought this butterfly light for my 5 year old twin daughters' room, and we love it! It is nice and bright so works great as a night light, but I can also dim it if I need to. I like the fade option on the remote so the light will turn all different colors, and I don't have to listen to my daughters argue about which color it should be. I also like that the color can be changed with a tap on the base. This allows me to keep the remote out of their room and prevent it from being lost forever. Would definitely recommend, and I would buy this again as a gift for another kid in the 5 - 10 range.

Super cute. I wanted a night light for my daughter. I didn't find any of the traditional plugin night light very appealing, and I also didn't want a lamp either. This is cute. I love the elephants because it goes with her theme; there are other designs that you can choose from. It comes with a remote and a charging cable (the charger block is not included though, but I didn't care because I have a lot of those laying around). On the remote, there are different settings that you can change it to, flashing lights or steady, etc. The only thing is, I'm not sure what would happen if you lost the remote. I mean, you can still manually turn it on my pressing the power button, but you probably won't be able to change the lights or anything. It's really cute because it reminds me of Dumbo and the scene when his mom is giving him a bath by spraying the water from her trunk.
