A pretty good weather station

"The unit as advertised is actually quite nice. The only frustration is with the setup if the outdoor sensor loses contact with the base or vice versa.

Then you have to remove batteries from both units, wait a while and reinsert batteries and go through the detailed setup again.

The negative mechanical thing about the unit is the battery cover. With good A sized batteries, one battery leans against the cover, so that any slight jarring movement causes the cover to pop open, battery to pop out, forcing a re-setup (external sensor and the unit need to be reset.)
I solved this battery cover problem by putting a piece of clear tape across the battery cover to keep it tightly closed.
Otherwise, it is a good unit, clearly readable."
