Uber Eats: Food Delivery 12+‎

I ordered 7 items from a restaurant on Thursday night! On receiving the order there were 4 items missing. The restaurant had closed and so there was no way of fulfilimg the order! The restaurant states that they cannot do anything and I need to go to Uber eats to lodge a complaint and then Ubereats cites their internal policy of not processing refunds for customers who have had multiple issues on consecutive orders. What a neat little scam!! These guys don’t even want to check with the restaurant before closing the case. Regret using this app totally

I do not reccomend anyone using this app because of so many reasons.
First of all my delivery driver left my food randomly and did not wait for me to come down eventhough I have imediately responded to his message and informed him i am on the way down. Therefore I never got my food. There is no option to contact the driver after that, so I contacted the support team. The app refunded me in “Uber cash” Ok. After i ve been waiting 40 minuts for my food, I have not only wasted my time but also money. I am exhausted from work and in the respective country for only 24 hours therefore Uber cash does not help me in any way! There was no option for me to get my refunded amount back. After contacting suport i got a lot of copy paste messages and chat gbt responses of very impersonal messages. No care. No service recovery was done. No trying to contact the driver to find out what happened. No solution, no change nothing. Just uber cash. Why would I ever want to use this app again to again waste my time and money only to be treated with indiference. I wanted my money back but there was no opton for that in the app. Therefore they take your money, provide poor service and force you to order from them again. Toxic loop. Never again. It s a joke. It takes a big impact on how I perceive Uber as a company and prevents me from wanting to ever use any of its services again.

This is the first time I have encountered such a rude and inefficient customer service. I had ordered from the app to deliver to my home address and since I got late in getting home I had left a message to the delivery boy to leave it at our door. The order was not delivered at the correct address and I couldn’t view the delivery boy’s contact number too as the order appeared delivered.

The customer service rather than contacting the delivery boy to drop it at the correct address started throwing accusations at me and suggested that I have a tendency to request for refunds which I never asked for in the first place! It’s great they are collecting data but how they have the audacity to assume and decide that all blame lies at my end for the refunds they have made in the past for orders they’ve delivered incorrectly is beyond me. There are way better services available in the market so I would not suggest wasting your time ordering your food through them as they have a tendency of delivering incorrect orders and have the most pathetic customer service that resolves the issue (if they ever do so!) three hours later when you are no longer hungry!
