Kylie Jenner has them. So does Hailey Baldwin, and Selena Gomez and Bella Hadid just got them, too. You know what we're talking about. It's the biggest hair trend of the summer: bangs. But there's just one problem with celebrities proclaiming that bangs are the look to have this season: It's freaking hot, and if there's one time of the year you want as little hair as possible touching your face, this is it. What's a fringed girl to do when her bangs keep sticking to her forehead in this oppressive summer heat? We asked hairstylists to share their tricks for keeping bangs fresh, dry, and awesome-looking.

Change the way you wash your hair.

"If you're about to hop in the shower, don't use conditioner in your bangs," says Kenna, a stylist in Brooklyn who works with Iggy Azalea and Victoria Beckham. "If you just use shampoo, your bangs will be better off." Conditioner will just add extra weight to your bangs, making them more likely to brush against your skin. Also, consider washing your hair (or at least your bangs) more often. "The best way to prevent your bangs from sticking to your forehead is to wash them every day," says Antonio Prieto of Antonio Prieto Salon in New York City.

Don't use a lot of skin-care products on your forehead.

"Be sure not to overload on moisturizer, as this can clog the pores and make the forehead greasy, in turn making your bangs greasy," says Daniel Galvin Jr., a London stylist who has worked with Paula Abdul.

Spritz heat spray on your brush when you comb through your bangs.

"Use the Oribe Soft Lacquer Heat Styling Spray on a boar-bristle brush, and swipe it across your bangs to prevent humidity from kicking them up," says Sheenon Olsen, the creative director at Atma Salon in Miami.

Change the way you dry them.

"Comb your bangs forward and then dry them with the blow-dryer pointed downward," says George Papanikolas, a Matrix StyleLink stylist who works with Hailey Baldwin. "Blast the hair on high heat to quickly remove excess moisture."

Make dry shampoo and sea salt spray your best friends.

"When my wife was wearing fringe last summer, I made sure that she always had a dry shampoo in her bag to keep any excess oils out," says Nate Rosenkranz, who has worked with blogger Marianna Hewitt. "Sea salt sprays are excellent for volume and texture," says Galvin Jr. "By creating volume, you'll lift the hair away from your forehead, thus preventing it from sticking to your forehead."

Keep powder in your bag at all times.

And by powder, we mean face powder. "Keep a loose powder and tissues in your bag to dust your forehead when things are getting sticky," says Daven Mayeda, who works with Shay Mitchell. "Try Face Atelier Ultra Loose Powder; it's great for all skin types."

And when all else fails, rely on blotting papers.

"The second thing I made sure my wife had in her bag was rice paper blotters, like the Tatcha Aburatorigami Japanese Beauty Papers to blot any oils or sweat from her forehead that may add to the stickiness," says Rosenkranz. "The dry shampoo absorbs the oil from your hair and the blotters absorb the oils from your forehead, insuring an oil-free zone."
