There will be some stains on your clothes that are more prominent than others. You need to tackle these first. Add 2 tsp. of vinegar, 1 tsp. of detergent powder and 2 tsp. of water in a bowl. Mix well and apply it on the stains. Let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
After pre-treating difficult stains, now you need to clean your entire garment. Soak your stained clothing in a bucket of water and add 1 cup of baking soda to it. Let your stained garment soak in this cleaning solution for an hour.
While a machine wash is effective, hand-washing will allow you to scrub the stains. Fill ½ a bucket with warm water. Add 1 cup of vinegar along with a mild detergent to it. If you prefer to hand wash your clothes, you can use a detergent powder such as Surf Excel Easy Wash. It is easily available in the market. Place your stained garment in the bucket and scrub using a clothes brush.
Once you take your washed garment out of the bucket, rinse it under tap water until all the detergent is washed off.
Leave your clean garment to dry naturally on a clothesline. However, avoid putting it to dry under direct sunlight.
