PCH Tutors

Here's an update on our experience with PCH Tutors. My younger son worked with PCH Tutors for SAT prep from summer after junior year into the Fall SAT test period. Jake was great to work with and his system of providing iPads for homework and testing helped with my sons busy club soccer schedule. My son could work on drills while we drove to games or flying in trips. With the help of Jake he was able to raise his score over 100 points from his previous test. At this point my son has been accepted into every college he applied and we can thank PCH for being a bi part of that! We have worked with PCH for AP tutoring as well. I highly recommend their professional yet relatable tutors.

We've had a very positive experience with PCH Tutors this school year. Whether we were working with our study tutor or other ones who came in our hour of need, they were consistently prompt, prepared and helpful for my 12th grade son. Another plus is that the tutors are college aged, so my son could relate to them as peers who are just a few years older. They are also efficient, most tutoring sessions were an hour. As my son graduates, I'm feeling grateful.

My daughter just went to college and my son is a junior, I have gone through a lot of tutors between 2 kids. My son is in Chemistry honor class and at the last minute, he needed to find someone who can help him on an upcoming test. We were referred to Vida but since there was a time conflict, she referred us to Cindy. My son said Cindy really knows Chemistry and explained everything very well. Cindy was on time coming to our house and she was very nice and polite.

I want to say that this company is very organized and is very eager to help families. From the first contact with Vida, to finding a best tutor to match my son's needs, it was very efficient. I even received a call from the owner who explained to me about the billing process. Everything is online and they have time sheets for each session. The charge rate is very reasonable compare to other in-home one on one tutoring services. Besides High school, I think they have tutors who can help with some college courses. This place is a gem and I am so happy to find them and know that my son will get the help he needs from Cindy!

PCH Tutors was by far the best in helping my daughter prepare for the SAT. Jake assessed my daughters needs right away and came prepared for every session in helping her prepare for the test. He communicated clearly w/ me in letting know what was or was not getting done and always offered a clear plan on any issues. I have and will continue to recommend PCH/Jake to any one looking for a very professional tutor.

I have used many tutors, but they have the best tutors! Vida helped me with Calculus and college essays. She made the college process easy by helping me! Whenever she's tutored me for school, I was able to understand instantly! They're great!!

I'm a dedicated 4.0 student at SMC majoring in econ-business. For general requirement I took challenging astronomy class which I needed a tutor to help me understand the science that I am not familiar and as international student astronomy is very hard for me. Lucky to keep my high GPA I have been working with Malone one of very kindest most passionate tutors. She is super helpful in answering my emails and text messages and making science easy for econ-business major don't quite understand. She works very hard and truly loves her job. It's hard to find people that care and have patient. PCH tutoring has been helpful by matching me with great tutor that is caring and compassionate. I'm so glad for this.

PCH Tutors is the way to go if you are looking for a tutor for any subject! Vida tutored me from middle school until the end of high school and she helped me understand EVERYTHING. She is super friendly and there to help you with any subject you need. Vida is very accessible and was always a text or phone call away if I ever needed extra help, there was never a time when I felt like I couldn't reach her for questions. She helped me study and completely understand every subject before a test or final. Even if we did not have a tutoring session on a certain day, she would make sure I was studying or completing questions she assigned me. I'm in college now and I feel completely prepared and comfortable with my study habits, thanks to Vida! If I could rate higher than five stars, I would!

Jake and his team of tutors have been amazing. Before choosing a tutor, there was a lot of discussion of what was needed to ensure a good fit between tutor and my child. My daughter, while a good student, needed help because her teachers were not always providing the best instructions and explanations regarding the subject matter. Jake, her math tutor, and her French tutor have helped her feel at ease with the materials and gave her confidence to learn the material in advance of the teacher's lessons or to clarify the lessons. I highly recommend PCH tutors. Their billing and acceptance of credit cards makes it easy.
