I started using pure liquid Castile soap in September of 2022 and that completely eliminated my need for lotion, but my hands still needed SOMETHING. They still got flaky especially on my palms and were still somewhat prone to cracks (but tiny ones in places that weren't painful - I used to get them in the most painful places on my hands). It wasn't bad enough that I resorted to using lotion though. I hate using lotion because it gets on everything I touch afterward. I still needed it just a little bit though but my skin was significantly better after switching to the pure Castile soap. My solution was to just rub my hands together over a sink to get the flakes off. heh It worked quite well though and left my hands feeling softer. So I liked doing that.

This is my first time using aloe. I started using this 3 days ago and my hands are already far better than they were before. I no longer need to rub them together to get flakes off! So this is huge!

I know that it sounds like I'm reviewing aloe in general, but the 5 stars is because of the quality of this stuff. While shopping, I read that some aloe products can be sticky, hard to spread, can contain lots of bad and unnecessary ingredients, and can contain an inferior aloe. With the Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Gel, I think I'm getting the same experience that I'd get if I were getting aloe directly from the plant. It even smells like real aloe. I knew someone who had a real aloe plant and they showed me how they use it.

I don't leave this on my hands even though it does dry cleanly and doesn't feel like it's still there. I can still smell it and if my hands get warm and sweaty, they sweat easier than normal. So I know it's still there for sure. I'm a stickler for clean hands so that I keep my belongings clean (including handles on things like doors). So, I apply this liberally and I coat my hands completely and evenly. Then I wash it off 20 minutes later. This is the way I did it the first time and just like magic, my hands were soft and flake-free for the rest of the day! Yes, after just 1 use! So yeah, I don't want to stop using this, especially now with winter here in Minnesota.

I used to think aloe was over-hyped, but all the hype is true. It's amazing stuff, and I like this Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Gel so much that I don't have any interest in trying anything else.

It does have a "natural" scent. Some have described it as a "vegetable" scent but I would describe it as similar to what a multi-vitamin tablet smells like. The scent is not overwhelming and it fades away after about a minute or two. It goes on easy and is not sticky at all.

This product is unique for several reasons. Seldomly, and I do mean seldomly, does one find 98.7% organic Aloe Vera Barbadensis Leaf as the main ingredient in any aloe product.
Many aloe vera "gel" products on the market are made up of mostly water, carbomer 941(a polymer thickening agent), and a tiny bit of aloe mucilage. I ought to know because I was a cosmetic chemist for many years. People understandably mistake this "gel" for pure aloe mucilage because it resembles it almost identically. If the public knew how incredibly little the actual amount of pure aloe was used they would be shocked. The FDA requires cosmetic product ingredients to be listed on the label in the order of the amount used in the product. Examine the label of most non oil based products, creams, lotions, conditioners, etc., and almost always you will notice they all list water as the first ingredient. How much water did we use in our aloe vera "gel" where I was employed?, 98.7%! Guess what?, it sold like hot cakes because the label said 100% Aloe Vera Gel. Why was that legal?, because it was "gel", not pure plant mucilage.
The other reasons this product is so outstanding are it does everything it claims to do, i.e. moisturizes the skin without a greasy feeling or sticky residue along with being absorbed really nice. Everybody in the family is using this Aloe Vera Gel and agreeing how much they enjoy it while also noticing how pleasant it is to use and the results they're noticing. Bottom line: finally a product with integrity that is what it says it is and does what it says it does.

The reviews seemed good so I gave it a try. I'm so glad I did! Even though my other brand is back in stock, I like this one better! A nice consistency and very natural! I use it on my sun damaged skin every day before make up. A little Seven Minerals aloe and a drop of Frankincense oil makes my skin feel nice and tight - then my makeup goes on more smoothly. And this aloe works well with a drop of lavender oil for sun burns and kitchen burns too! Customer for life!

Je précise, selon moi, il ne doit pas être utilisé seul. Je le combine matin et soir avec : 4 gouttes de jojoba, 4 gouttes d’huile de pépin de figue de barbarie, 1 goûte d’huile essentielle de patchoulis ou lavande vraie, et enfin, j’ajoute un peu de ce produit. J’ai 30 ans, j’ai une peau mixte et atypique (acné hormonale).
J’ai moins de problème de peau grâce à ce produit.

Cela agit comme une crème de jour : coup d’éclat, rapidité de pénétration, hydratation et j’en passe. L’application de cette formule est tout simplement un réel plaisir. Il me manquait le côté « eau » et fraîcheur à mes huiles. Je suis ravie ! A utiliser en petite quantité !

Ceci est le seul produit d’aloe vera SANS ALCOOL ! Pour rappel : l’alcool se trouve dans tous vos produits commercialisés ! A court terme, il est un excellent conservateur et donne un côté pénétrant, mais à long terme, cela fait vieillir votre peau bien plus que les avantages de votre crème de jour.
