Won't trust anyone else. Great doctor and incredible staff. He is really the best. I was so nervous before my surgery but realized how I would be 100% ok. My only regret is not doing it sooner!

Went in for a lip lift. I do these procedures as a doctor and wow I was botched and he didn't lift the lip but barely 1 mm. It's crooked. And also under treated on the left lateral side.
The office is horrible. They call incessantly for money before the procedure than vanish completely on you after. They make u use an online bot via Klarna to interact. Even with complications. Very unsafe practice. And he books three cases a day. I was his third so he lacked all attention to details. I'm crooked. Still long lip length is currently still 19mm. It should be 13-25mm. They say wait a yr. Why be cause they hope by then you will give up and accept his horrible work or lack of outcome. I'm a surgeon too and it's been this way from day 1 and I also notified them day 1. I asked for a refund which they make excuses saying to heir office manager is away. I have to discuss it with her when back. Well photos do not lie and I'll blast all all over the Internet until I'm fully refunded. Ills use for all damages too if not refunded. Avoid this doctor at all cost. He never called post surgery to check in. They send a bot via Klarna. It's insane I also waited over 2 hrs for the procedure. My scheduled time was 3pm. We went into the OR after 5 pm. He rushed it. He also ruined the upper lip orbicularis muscle so now there is a deep ridge that I never had prior.
They don't care at all. As a fellow surgeon I expected a normal even average outcome. And I expect to have a Dr check in. They do not. Maybe if you are Asian they may. I'm Caucasian and obviously not a concern. I'll sue. This is outrageous
Run away. Don't believe his experience or his expensive ad he paid I'm sure 10k to be listed in New Beauty as the best drs in NYC. They are not elected to this. They buy the title by the ad. Typo above.

Lip length should be13-15 mm mine was 20mm now still is 19mm. Insane

I had a horrible outcome from upper blepharoplasty surgery. Both eyelids are completely different shapes and crease heights. Dr. Kwak assured me that they would become symmetrical in 1 year, which did not happen. They are completely asymmetrical and now, need to get revision surgery.

I had Asian blepharoplasty and epicanthoplasty performed 3 years ago and my eyes look very natural now with barely visible scarring (I did apply a lot of sunscreen). Dr. Kwak gave me realistic expectations of what results I could expect in consideration of my specific facial features. I felt like he listened to my concerns seriously and adhered to them during the surgery. I recommend going in with a clear idea of the look you want but also be open to listening to his feedback and recommendations.

Extremely happy I decided to go with Dr. Kwak for my double eyelid surgery. I'm about 1.5 months post op and I am super happy with the results. The consult was quick and efficient, and the surgery was about 1 hour. Recovery time wasn't too bad and I didn't really have much pain, just some discomfort but that's a given. We will see how the next year goes for full recovery but as of right now, very happy with the results and would recommend him for double eyelid surgery!

Dr. Kwak and the staff at ESKMD Facial Plastic Surgery are an absolute dream to work with. The office staff are professional, and responsive. I visited for a non-surgical procedure. I felt welcomed when I arrived, and I felt safe, as they follow COVID protocols. The medical assistant is warm, funny, and comforting. She had me laughing out loud, and not nervous at all. Dr. Kwak, as always, never makes you feel rushed, answers questions comprehensively, honestly, and makes sure you as a patient understand the procedure(s). He doesn't push services and listens so he can address your concerns. I highly recommend ESKMD Facial Plastic Surgery.

I lost my family member during the pandemic and with all that grief and stress, aging accelerated around my eyes. My friend referred me to Dr Kwak since he had a successful upper eyelid surgery. I decided to do the brow lift upon consultation. It was the best investment ever! After a few months, my eyes looked more open and brighter; frown lines and the grooves of the forehead disappeared entirely. And most importantly, I regained my confidence and positive outlook. Dr Kwak is an empathetic and exceptionally skilled surgeon. The staff/team was outstanding. Beautiful, kind and smart people are managing the office. Just amazing place!

After spending 2 years in a complete an utter state of depression, by the shockingly deformed nose I was left with at the extremely unskillful hands of Dr Kwak :(
I finally found a new surgeon who is good, skillful and is able to correct the damage caused by my botched surgery.

I am 4 months post blepharoplasty (eye bag surgery). Dr. Kwak did an amazing job with my under eyes. My heavy eye bags that I have been dealing with since my early 30's are completely gone! Results are amazing.

My eye bags got worse each year and became very apparent when I turned 40. Fillers were quick fix to mask the problem, but they left my eye looking puffier. I had to do something about it. I had a consultation with Dr. Kwak and I completely trusted him to perform blepharoplasty on me. He understands my asian facial structure and what needed to be done to make my under eyes smooth and bag free!

The surgery was relatively quick, and I recovered in less than 2 weeks. No-one knew I have anything done. Dr. Kwak is extremely skillful and meticulous with his hands and made sure you got results, and.. I did. I am extremely happy with my bag-free eyes. No more fillers and looking tired.

I came in for my final touch up with Dr. Kwak and he followed through with everything we discussed in our initial consultation. He was very clear and made the process very smooth. His staff and his demeanor was extremely professional. It's such an arduous task to find a doctor who is very approachable,professional, talented and skillful all in one, but I was very fortunate to discover Dr.Kwak and I am ecstatic with the final results. He is phenomenal!
