Alison was a huge help when I first started to coming in for a terrible pelvic floor pain that stemmed from a sports injury. Despite being tense and anxious from the pain (and overall being out of my element) Alison quickly made me feel at ease and confident that she could help. She knew exactly what to do. The immediate relief provided was a weight off my shoulders and allowed me get on the path to rehabbing the root cause of my pelvic pain (core/hip health). Now that I'm all better I had to come and share how big a part Alison was in my recovery - I recommend her to anyone who may need her expertise. Thanks Alison!

Extremely knowledgeable and down to earth she made me feel comfortable throughout the session. I'm also a PT and I refer out to Alison all the time. The office is a bit tricky to find in the back of a PT clinic, make sure to allow 5 extra minutes.

As a PT who has been suffering with pelvic pain for several years, I was at my wits end when I finally decided to spend the money on a pelvic floor session. I'm so happy I did. I felt instant relief, and it was worth every dollar, not only for the pain relief, but for the education and reframing that now makes my condition feel manageable. There's a huge link between stress and pelvic floor function, so the treatment was effective both physically and psychoemotionally. Dr Romero made me feel comfortable throughout the session,
Even though this was my first time being worked on internally. I highly recommend her.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 -

Allison is a terrific physical therapist. She's very well educated in her field and does a great job of knowing what is right for the patient. She's always in tune with your expectations and delivers good exercises to help with your issues. Allison is warm and friendly and works with you not at you. I would definitely recommend her for anyone dealing with pelvic issues.

This review is a long time over due since it's been 4 years since I saw Dr. Allison for my pelvic pain postpartum. Four years later and I still think about Allison with gratitude for helping me with my woes. She is so kind, caring, considerate, responsive, attentive and friendly. She quickly found a common ground for us to talk through and distract me while treating me. It was always a pleasure to come for my appointment and after about 6 visits she had me good as new. I would love to see Allison again for more treatments if only I were in the area! Thank you Dr. Allison! You have made a tremendous difference in my life. Wishing you all the best.

I found Allison about 5 years ago at a very low point in my life. I had recently been diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis and was suffering from daily pain...sometimes so bad I just had to take a pain pill and lie on the couch.
After my first visit with Allison (in which she also diagnosed me with pelvic floor disorder) I felt completely comfortable with pelvic floor PT. I had been a bit trepidatious going in as I didn't know what to expect but Allison made me feel 110% comfortable. Additionally, Allison CHANGED MY LIFE. I honestly mean that. I saw Allison once or twice a week for almost a year then tapered down gradually. I now only have to see her very occasionally when my symptoms flare. Allison is incredibly knowledgeable, tactful, funny, and overall a kind human. I have told many people about how Allison helped me including my urogynecologist who didn't seem to know much about pelvic floor PT prior to me.
I really can't recommend Allison and Reclaim Pelvic Therapy highly enough. Allison has helped me take back my life and happiness and learn that I don't have to suffer.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 -

Allison is great. I've seen her on and off for well over a year now, and she is always able to fit me in quickly. A quick "tune up" is what I need every few months, and I am immediately better after seeing her. She has also been great to teach me techniques I can do at home to help bridge the gap.

Allison was always kind and thoughtful, patient and understanding, and a real treat to get to know. When all the other large clinics take months to get into (including the large hospitals), Allison was able to get me in within a few weeks and I am eternally grateful for her help. Pelvic floor issues can be so incredibly isolating, painful, and confusing and she always provided a safe space to talk about it all on top of her advice for making it better. I'm almost sad not to need her anymore! I couldn't recommend her more. Thank you so much Allison!

Dr. Romero is truly the definition of what it means to be a good doctor. She's smart. Knows her craft very well. And is extremely patient and thorough. She truly cares about the well-being of her patients and takes the time to explain some "unexplainable things". Thank you so much for enlightening me about my body and proving me with the tools I need to get back in shape.
