What do you do if you're a guy whose beard is in that awkward and patchy growing-out phase? Fill it in with makeup, of course!

A man posted a picture of his beard on Reddit after his friend filled it in with makeup:

Here's what his beard looks like without any makeup:

We're definitely feeling his filled-in beard. His friend, Reddit user @ashmush used only one product to create his burly, dark beard. She filled in the gaps with the deepest shade in the E.L.F. Mad for Matte Eyeshadow Palette. Then she helped him out in the eye department by erasing his undereye circles with Maybelline Fit Me Concealer and rimming his eyes with Julep When Pencil Met Gel Eye Glider.

The guy asked for feedback on his new look, and it's safe to say mostly everyone loved it. (One commenter wrote that he looked like a "majestic sea captain," which is probably a compliment.) And then someone mentioned there's a company called Kenmen that sells Brow & Beard Correctors for men who want to "fill gaps in beards, mustaches, and brows where hair may be thinning or naturally sparse." Get this: Each pencil costs $33. That's pretty damn pricey.

One commenter said what every woman is thinking: "And I thought $22 was steep for brow pencils. Can you imagine how quickly a guy would go through one of those trying to fill in a beard? Looks like we found ourselves the first case of a reverse-vagina tax!
