'Tis the season for embracing a natural-looking glow, but don't shelve all your cosmetics just yet—the trick to getting a glowing "no makeup" look is, well, makeup. We asked W3LL People co-founder and makeup artist Shirley Pinkson to demonstrate her approach to the subtle look using just plant-based (and often organic) products. Who needs FaceTune?

Smooth under eyes
Tyler Joe
A hydrating eye cream, serum, or balm allows for concealer to blend in seamlessly. The balm Pinkson used from One Love Organics is packed with vitamin E, providing extra hydration for that delicate skin.

Apply tinted moisturizer
Tyler Joe
But keep it light. If the tinted moisturizer is too shiny or heavy, it will melt away in the summer heat. Pinkson used W3LL People Tinted Multi-Tasking Moisturizer, which arrives this fall—but in the meantime, Ilia also offers a great natural (and sun-friendly) option.

Brighten up
Tyler Joe
Tap and blend concealer under the eye and onto the eyelid to neutralize under eye. Stay tuned for W3LL People's concealer, which arrives later this year, but in the meantime, the brand's foundations stick also provides light and seamless coverage.

Contour with cream bronzer
Tyler Joe
Apply a blendable bronzer to the contour of the cheeks and the outer corner of the eye with a foundation brush or fingertips. The sheer texture gives you more control in application, and they have a bit of sheen, which makes your face look healthy and radiant.
For an added pop of color, tap a warm, peachy cream blush onto the apple of the cheeks. Bonus: The Multi-Stick Pinkson used is also great for lips.

Get lit
Tyler Joe
Apply a cream highlighter to the cheekbones, the bridge of the nose, the cupid's bow, and the lower eyelid. Look for a highlighter that is not too glittery or frosty. The goal is to create a subtle pearly radiance that catches light, enhancing the dimension of your complexion. This stick provides easy application—just blend with a brush or your fingers.
Apply mascara to the upper lid only to avoid unwanted smudging under the eye. W3LL People's cult-favorite product provides lasting length and definition.
The final touch is a neutral, sheer pink or coral gloss. Choose something with minimal shimmer to keep it looking natural, like W3LL People's Bio Extreme.

After
Tyler Joe
If you have an oily complexion, Pinkson suggests strategically dusting your face—particularly your T-zone—with a little loose powder. But powder lightly—the idea is to have a little shine!
