A brain tumor is the apparent cause of death of the 12-year- old daughter of Illinois Attorney General Jim Ryan.
Anne Marie Ryan had a tumor at the base of her brain, according to the preliminary finding of an autopsy performed Sunday by the DuPage County coroner's office. The coroner's office said in a statement that more tests are being performed.
Anne Marie was taken by ambulance to Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead Saturday morning. She had complained in the past of migraine headaches, and had a migraine and nausea on Friday.
