Spring 2024 Graduation Regalia Order Information and Instructions

 IRSC RIVER SHOP SPRING 2024 GRADUATION INFORMATION

Congratulations on your upcoming graduation from IRSC!

Effective for SPRING 2024 Commencement Ceremony May 2nd & 3rd

Graduates attending commencement must fill out a Commencement Participation Form through MarchingOrder and order their regalia through the IRSC Bookstore.

 Please complete the following steps below if you will participate in the Spring 2024 Commencement Ceremony.

 1.     Complete Commencement Participation Form

Complete the request through MarchingOrder by 4/4/24.  The commencement participation request must be completed before purchasing regalia.

 2.     Order your Regalia (cap, gown, and tassel).

IRSC approved regalia may be purchased through The River Shop Bookstore at the Massey Campus or online at https://www.bookstore.irsc.edu/ for $65.00 and is due at the time of order. The $65.00 fee covers the Regalia Package and other Commencement/Graduation expenses. 

Commencement Regalia Packages may be ordered online starting on Tuesday, March 26th  thru Monday, April 15th  .  Online orders will be processed starting the week of April 1st. Please provide your Student ID on the Order so that your eligibility for Honors Cords can be verified.

Commencement Regalia may be purchased in-person at the Massey Campus River Shop starting on Monday, April 8th thru Monday, May 1st . 

 ·     Orders are non-reimbursable, and non-transferable. Graduates are responsible for ceremony regalia. If lost or missing regalia, graduate will have to purchase a complete replacement packet.

 ·     If purchasing regalia online, at the time of check out, select which campus C-Port lockers you would like your ceremony regalia sent. Honor Cords (if designated) will be included with your regalia order. Please allow 5-7 days for order processing.

 ·     If you are a member of the U.S. Armed Forces (Veteran, Active, Reserve) and would like to receive a military cord, you must present a military ID at the Massey Campus River Shop.

SPRING 2024 SEMESTER TEXTBOOKS ARE NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE & IN-STORE

We are pleased to announce that the course materials for the Spring 2024 term are now available for purchase both online and in-store.

 

 

SPRING 2024 TEXTBOOK RETURN POLICY:

Spring 2024 Textbooks in original condition are returnable for a full refund with a valid receipt through Friday, Jan. 12, 2024.  Spring 2024 Textbooks in original condition are also returnable for a full refund within 5 business days from the date of purchase with a valid receipt 1/13/24 - 3/22/24. 

HOW TO FIND AND PURCHASE YOUR COURSE MATERIALS VIA THE RIVER SHOP

 SELECT:       TEXTBOOKS      

                    BUY BOOKS

 Use the pull-down menus to select your Course according to your Current Course Schedule:

 The Course Info. will appear in a yellow box on the right side of your screen.  You would repeat these steps and enter ALL the courses according to your schedule,  then select the green button: “COMPARE PRICES ON THESE COURSE MATERIALS”

 

Select the green “BEGIN PRICE COMPARISON” Button:

Toward the top of the screen, the River Shop items will display, along with Availability.

If you want to order any items,  you would click the yellow box that says “ADD TO CART” Once Added, the button will turn to green and indicate “IN CART” as pictured above.

When you are all done adding items to your CART, you will select the “GO TO CHECKOUT” button

 Click the “Checkout for Retailer”  button  (the River Shop).

 

You can review what is in the Cart, then click the Blue CHECKOUT button to continue.

 You can specify if you accept substitutions by clicking the “Prefer New Unless Unavailable” box which would allow us to substitute a Used book for a New book if there were no New books available at the time that we process your order.   

 Then Select the “CONTINUE TO SHIPPING INFO” blue button.

 ENTER YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS:

 Choose between USPS  ($7.00 minimum) or one of the Campus Location C-Port Lockers (free):

Notes for Filling Out Your Ship To Address:

 Please assure that your Ship To and Bill To Address are the same address in your Workday profile.  If you use a different address than your Workday profile, you will need to ADD the address to your Work Day file and send an email to RSWebOrders@irsc.edu from your @mail.irsc.edu email address that you have completed that step.   For your protection and ours against credit card fraud, we verify that all addresses are valid addresses in Student Workday Accounts.  Your order will not be processed until you complete the steps to ADD your Ship To or Bill To address to your workday profile.   

 Also, if you are paying by credit card, the Bill To and Ship To addresses MUST match the address on file with your credit card bank. Otherwise, your order will be declined and canceled when we attempt to process the payment.  You will receive an email that your order has been cancelled due to the credit card declining when we attempted to process your order.

Click the “CONTINUE TO PAYMENT INFO” blue button

 IF YOUR BILLING ADDRESS is the same as the Ship To address, just click the box.  If you do not select that box, you will need to enter the different Billing Address (and assure this address is also in your Workday Profile).

 You will need to enter your STUDENT ID to proceed to the PAYMENT METHOD SECTION.

 To use your Financial Aid/Scholarship/3rd Party Account, enter your SID # In the box.

 Follow the remaining instructions to complete your order.

 What Happens After I Submit My Order?

 You will receive a confirmation Order email from rsweborders@irsc.edu.  This will include your Order#.  Please have this Order # available if you need to contact the River Shop with any questions or inquiries.

You will receive a second email after your order is processed.

 If you selected USPS Shipping as the shipping method, you will also receive USPS Tracking info.

 If you selected a C-Port Locker as the Shipping Method, you will receive an email and text message when the package has been placed in a C-Port Locker with instructions and code to retrieve your package.

During non-peak period, online orders will take 2-3 business days to fulfill, but during peak periods (first two weeks of classes each Semester) orders can take up to 5-6 business days.

HOW TO USE YOUR FINANCIAL AID - STUDENT ACCOUNT IN THE RIVER SHOP

STUDENT ACCOUNTS:  FINANCIAL AID IMPORTANT NOTES:

In order to use a portion of your Financial Aid Award in the River Shop, you must submit a new Bookstore Authorization Form each Academic Year with the Financial Aid Office.  You can submit the Bookstore Authorization Form via your WorkDay portal.  Please allow one business day after you submit your request in Workday before your funds are available at the River Shop. 

 

NEW BOOKSTORE AUTHORIZATION FORM SUBMITTAL INSTRUCTIONS:

See the Instructions below: 

STEP1:   Log into your MyPioneerPortal

STEP 2:  On the left side if your screen, under Tools, Select "Workday"

STEP 3:  Then click on "View all Apps" or "Menu"

STEP 4:  Go to: "Student Financial Aid"

Step 5:   Under the Menu, Select the thrid option "Financial Aid Bookstore Authorization"

STEP 6:  Fill out the REQUIRED information and SUBMIT IT!

What is C-PORT?

C-Port: Intelligent Parcel Lockers (Updated: 02/08/22)

IMPORTANT: Check your RIVERMAIL for C-PORT Delivery Notifications.

Announcements and important information about C-PORT: 

  • Check your RIVERMAIL for C-PORT notifications. C-PORT defaults to sending notifications to your RIVERMAIL. (Always check your JUNK and SPAM folders just in case)
  • No deliveries will be made to any branch campus C-PORT for RS Web Orders on Fridays during Summer hours.
  • Packages are available for 7-days to pick up at your selected C-PORT location. After the 7th day, your package will be returned to Massey Campus prompting a refund with a 10-percent fee for services rendered.

 One of the greatest changes made at the River Shop was the introduction of an intelligent parcel locker system that we've named C-Port. This system will enable web orders to be delivered to branch campus locations and available for pick up for as long as the building location is open – which gives you more convenience and time to pick-up your order. C-Port will be available at all major IRSC campuses, and has a ton of features to be excited about:

  • It's a state-of-the-art package delivery system that reduces person-to-person contact, is safe, secure, and reliable. 
  • Shipments to C-PORT are FREE.
  • Returns using C-PORT will be easier than ever.
  • Delivery and package status notifications will be sent to your RiverMail and phone via SMS.
  • C-Port is self-service, no need to wait on anyone for any reason. 
  • Package pick up is available longer than curbside options were, most locations are open 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM, Monday through Friday; but it does vary campus to campus, so check with your local campus’s registration desk for building hours of operation and scheduled changes. 
  • Students using Financial Aid or Scholarship as a payment method will no longer have to submit verification documents if they choose a C-Port for their delivery method.

Quick Help

  • Book Authorization Form - If your account is invalid, but you were awarded Financial Aid, you may be missing this form from your file at the Financial Aid Office. Fill out the form and email it to the above Financial Aid email as described.
  • Need help with your Homschool D.E./Financial Aid/Scholarship/3rd Party Sponsorship Account - please visit the Financial Aid Help web page for assistance.
  • Computers may now be purchased on Financial Aid, but pre-authorization must be made by the Financial Aid Department - email Alex Arnold (aarnold@irsc.edu) or Strather DuPree (sdupree@irsc.edu) to get authorized for a computer purchase.

Attachments for FERPA Verification:

  • DO NOT EMBED required documents in the email body. Send them as individual attachments.
