Very good tasting, which is what it's all about. Convenient too. I initially purchased these due to the recommendation from Cooks Illustrated, which I respect and have an online membership to. The flavor is quite good, not too salty which many veggie broths tend to be. I've made quite a few vegetarian versions of soups with this product, Tofu Noodle Soup (Veggie version of Chicken), Avogolemono, as well as used in Stir Fry's.

I've tried any number of pre-packaged vegetable broths and most of them have been bitter disappointments being either nearly flavorless, too salty, or tasting strongly of one vegetable to the exclusion of all others. Swanson seems to have gotten the mix right with a good depth of flavor without the addition of too much salt. It makes a terrific base for my potato soup as well as my favorite liquid for cooking down the carcass of a rotisserie chicken to make chicken stock.

If you have occasion to use vegetable broth, I really recommend Swanson for overall quality and flavor.

Excellent product and a good price. If you have not tried "prime pantry" yet, you are missing out. Not only is there a great selection of products, it actually saves you money by keeping you focused on your shopping list and prioritizing the items. One of the biggest expenses for my family is buying as many item on impulse as we do our shopping list. Prime pantry removes the temptation of buying items, buy color, packing, or other sales gimmicks. It also has a very cool calculator that tells you exactly how much room is left in your pantry box, and makes excellent suggestions for what to fill it with. Try it, you won't be disappointed. The only problem I've had is with the packaging; about one third of the time when I pull the aluminum tab to open the container, the tab breaks off without opening it. It's a minor inconvenience though because one can simply cut it open with a pairing knife.

I ordered a 12 pack of this item, a large amount as this item will keep for a while, or so I had hoped. Not only did the box come completely battered, extremely dirty and partially broken open, the items inside looked as though they had been through the ringer as well. My primary complaint however is that the expiration dates on all 12 containers is June 2021. That is 2 months away. I will never use that much broth in 2 months and the cost came out to about $5 a unit. The item says it is not eligible for return, I won’t be accepting this ridiculousness but I resent having to deal with this malarkey, especially if I have to haul the big, dirty box to the post office.
