As an aromatherapy and holistic health practitioner I prefer nebulizer style diffusers over the ones that use water. I’ve owned several in the past but this style and design works best and is very affordable. The parts fit together easily and I love the knob to adjust airflow. It runs 5 min then off for 3 , which is fine since undiluted (neat) essential oils are potent.
I like the rubber bottom that prevents unit from sliding. The solid wood base is beautiful and substantial. The changing colors is a bonus. Only use 100% pure EO and you can use rubbing alcohol to clean glass when needed. Some of the citrus oils like tangerine can get sticky. It’s a good idea to run lavender oil alone from time to time to clean unit. Never fill oils above the chamber . It’s quiet but at full speed you can hear a slight buzz which is totally normal for this style unit. When properly used and maintained this unit will last. It’s a great product at an excellent price. I intend to order more.

I purchased an organic aromas nebulizer in 2016 and I really didn't use it all that much until recently I have many water diffusers and was mostly using them - I recently started using the organic aromas nebulizer more often I can put 3 drops of oil in it and it "smokes" up and fills the room in less than 2 minutes with beautiful aromas that really linger most of the day. I realized how much better the smell is from it and how much longer that it last than my water diffusers so I decided I wanted to replace my water diffusers with all nebulizers - the organic aromas is like 99.00 and since I want to purchase several I didn't want to spend that much so I purchased 2 from this company this one here and another design that is a KNOCKOFF of the raindrop 2.0 I thought I was getting a bargain because I was getting 2 for the price 1 from organic aromas - well let me tell you there is no comparison I've already returned both of these pieces of crap - they don't put out hardly any vapor - on the outside they look the same as the more expensive ones but they DO NOT PERFORM - essential oils are expensive so it doesn't make sense to "save" 40 bucks on the equipment and then spend 100's more on the oils without even getting results. it really isn't like me to come on here and spend this much time on a negative review but honestly, I'm sick and tired of all of this knockoff crap. I've had hair care, makeup etc that is packaged up and being sold as authentic and its just knockoff crap in look-alike package and I'm tired of it and that is exactly what this nebulizer here is.
Spend a little more and get the real thing and save yourself money in the long run.

I purchased two of these. They are extremely well made with real wood for a change. The amount of atomized oil is adjustable with the off and on switch and the rest periods are automatic.My only admonition is to those with smoke detectors. My nebulizers set them off. They do not stay on- only two or three blasts. I even tried taking them into the bathroom and closing the door and the detectors still went off. This is no fault of the nebulizers, which I love; but I had to curtail their use. They work great for nasal congestion using menthol camphor, and eucalyptus essential oils.

i don't usually write reviews, just wanted to let you know that since I was new to using essential oils I did not realize that you shouldn't diffuse thicker oils in a nebulizing oil diffuser. the advantage to this type of diffuser is that you are getting the true oil as opposed to others that you add water to which dilutes them and can decrease their beneficial use.

Vapor escapes around the lid piece and condenses around the edges of the gap between the lid and vessel, causing the oil to stick around the lid, wasting expensive essential oils. After the second use, the motor/pump is noticeably louder than before. Really wanted to love this for the price, very disappointing.

It barely works, I may have left it on longer than 3 hours and "broke" it but when it shuts itself off every 10 minutes for 10 minutes, it's hard to tell if it's on or off or not. So you may leave it on one night, it goes through its "cycle" temporally shuts itself off, you think it's off, you go to bed, it runs all night and the motor breaks. I think it worked better at first, but I'm comparing it to a regular water diffuser and it's scent is incredibly weak. I leave it on for 3 hours and can barely smell anything, this doesn't count as aromatherapy, it's too easy to break, and it doesn't have a mode where it can stay on regularly and diffuse enough scent to fill a small room. They need to improve the technology before they try selling this to people, garbage.

I won't be changing this review don't bother asking.
