USE and CARE Instructions

Before First Use- Remove all packaging materials and labels. Wash in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.

UTENSILS - Plastic, rubber, silicone or wooden utensils are recommended. Avoid using any sharp objects or metal utensils because they can scratch any non-stick surface. Always remove food from the pan before slicing or cutting.

CLEANING - Cool completely before washing. Hand wash only with a soft cloth or sponge and nonabrasive cleansers or liquid dish washing soap in warm water. Rinse and then dry with a soft towel. Do Not soak in water, Do Not put in dishwasher.

Not Exactly What I Ordered
This is the second of these pans that I have ordered. I liked the first one so much, that I used the "Buy It Again" feature to order a second. But what came this time was quite different from the first one. It just seems to me that if you order the exact same thing, you should receive the exact same thing. It's not like they're handmade and each one is unique. Ha! I have attached a picture of both pans. The pan in the bottom of the picture is the first one I received. The top pan is the second one. As you can see, they don't look much alike. The finish is completely different. In addition, the first one I ordered has smooth rounded edges, and the second one has a lip around it. I just don't like the looks of this one. Maybe that seems petty, but it's just not right to send someone something different from what they ordered. That is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. I used it, and it works fine. I didn't grease either pan, and they both worked well. So if all you are concerned with is function, you will be satisfied with this pan.

These are fantastic. I bought one pan to try it out, and it worked so well that I ordered another one, and threw out my teflon muffin pans. These are even MORE nonstick than teflon -- you barely have to grease the cups and things pop right out. These pans also can take a higher heat than teflon, so they can be used for popovers, which we make regularly (teflon will peel when subjected repeatedly to 425 degree heat). Perfect popovers every time. I have not run my pans through the dishwasher, as the packaging recommended hand wash -- but they clean up so quickly with soap and water, it's no problem. I recommend these highly.

This pan has worked great every time but once, when I didn't use much coconut oil / butter in the batter (I don't even bother 'greasing' this pan, since the fat I put in the batter seems to do the trick). The muffins did stick a little that time momentarily, but it just took a little twisting to break them loose. No big deal, but it made me take note to ensure I use plenty of good fat in the batter in future batches. Anyway, I've made dozens and dozens and dozens of muffins by now and it still looks and functions as it did when brand new! I'm still very very happy with this pan.

Finally... This muffin pan should get some kind of award. Non-toxic ceramic coating, sturdy, and super non-stick. I make a lot of stuff from coconut flour and eggs, and it tends to stick really badly to most things. But when I took the first batch of muffins made with these pans out of the oven, I could spin them around with my finger inside the cups. Completely, utterly non-stick. In fact, to clean them all I did was wipe off some butter and bits of batter. And the muffins browned really, really nicely which was an added bonus.

My main concern with this long-term is how the coating will hold up. But even if I have to replace them in a few years it will still be worth it for awesome coconut flour muffins. Time will tell, but they seem well-made (heavier and sturdier than I expected, which is a good thing).

I also got the blue and white casaware tiny 24-muffin pan. The coating on that one scratches off even from sliding on the oven tray... But the coating on the 12 muffin pan seems much better and more durable.

Made muffins this morning and they didn't even think about sticking. Greased the cups with coconut oil, but I think the oil in the batter would have been enough to keep them from sticking. Can't believe I suffered with the old muffin pan as long as I did.

It was the first time making this particular recipe, so I am not sure it had anything to do with the pan, but these were the best muffins I have made in years--and the best recipe I have made since switching to einkorn flour. The outside was perfectly browned and the inside had the best texture I could have hoped for.
