I've found sometimes when cooking sea salt actually works better with a little less. Still get the salt flavor just dont have to use quite as much. The flavor seems to cook in better with meats as well. Also nice when you like more of a salt flavor and someone else prefers less salt in their food, helps make easier to compromise on it without really having to give up to much. So you both get your way.

This will make your food salty. There is a distinct point of diminishing returns where the salt will stop making the food taste better and start making it inedible. it also can make water boil "faster" and can melt ice. Magic? Nay...Science! Use sparingly, unless the wholesale genocide of slugs is your aim, in which case, pour it on. The desiccated remains can be turned into jewelry or chewy treats for your cat.
