Sea salt. 100% pure sodium chloride and nothing else added. I'm not a salt connoisseur so all I can say is it tastes like salt and is quite palatable. I also didn't buy this specifically because it was salt from the sea but because it's a good value and I ran out of salt... In any case, 5 stars from me. I could complain and give a 1 star rating for being high in sodium... But that would make me an idiot.
