I could not be happier with this book!!! I am a lifetime hater of mushrooms and yet most vegan cookbooks are filled with them. This will be my go to cookbook not only for comfort food but for convenience as well. Love it!!!

Love Marly's blog and have made many of her recipes over the years. I was excited to get her cookbook. Her recipes never steer me wrong. I knocked off one star because of the lack of pictures in the cookbook. They are a must for me and had I known there would be so few, I probably wouldn't have made the purchase. There are a few pages of them in the middle of the book, not attached to the recipes themselves. The pictures on her blog are beautiful, so I was expecting the same in her book. I know some people don't care, but I love to see the creations. It helps me to know what the end result is supposed to look like and I tend to not use cookbooks without/with few pictures as often. That said, I love that she included nutritional info. This is super helpful, especially if you have special needs. We need to watch sodium and fat, so it's a huge help.

I love this recipe book! I am going to order another one as a gift. It has an amazing vegan version of everything! The pages are also very informative; it includes helpful ingredient tips and also the storing time for prepped meals. The meals are easy to make and the grocery lists are simple.

Just what I wanted: Recipes I will actually eat.

Disappointed that there wasn't more info about planning, shopping, shortcuts, etc. like the description seemed to promise. I'm looking for necessary gadgets, staples to always have or prepare (like cashew cream that can be used in so many recipes). The Vegan shopping guide had a list of accidentally vegan food. And that's it! I'm a long time vegan who eats take out regularly (daily x1, 2 or 3) who now has a family to feed and I'm looking for shortcuts, ways to get the most bang for my buck in meal planning and buying ingredients, and any other tips for making quick and easy vegan family friendly food. This is just a cookbook. I didn't try any of these recipes, although they all sound good. Also, the e version layout doesn't combine photos with the recipes. Photos are all at the end.

The thing I love most about this cookbook is that there are so many of Marly's recipes I will ACTUALLY try since they look simple and don't contain a lot of far out ingredients. I also love her "secular" approach to veganism. Really great positive vibe!

It was an ok book. Not saying horrible, but of my three vegan cookbooks, not my favorite. A lot of the recipes ask for processed ingredients.

Recipes are nothing special, it’s an OK book, wasn’t what I was looking for, these recipes are average and can be obtained just about anywhere....I’m disappointed...it’s well written, good layout.
