I don't think these are good for my needs. I was hoping to use the smaller ones for hair pulling for grooming dogs. The hair just slips through & doesn't hold. I will not buy again. I'm sure they are good for other uses.

Pack of 6 hemostats and 3 do not close tightly so would not hold sutures. There are still 3 sizes that are OK so I will keep the set. I'm a retired OR nurse and these are not of surgical quality but the price was right. They will work for household uses and the mosquito should work for removal of sutures.
