Almond Oat Shower Scrub with Lavender Essential Oil

Ingredients

  • 48 drops Aura Cacia Lavender Essential Oil 0.5 fl. oz.
  • 4 oz. Wide Mouth Jar
  • 3 fluid ounces unscented liquid Castile soap
  • 2 tablespoons (about 16) whole almonds
  • 3 tablespoons rolled oats

Almond Oat Shower Scrub with Lavender Essential Oil

A gentle DIY shower scrub recipe made with ground almonds, oats, liquid Castile soap and lavender essential oil.

Directions:

1. In a food processor or grinder, combine almonds and rolled oats. Pulse until a medium to fine meal forms.

2. In a jar, combine Castile soap, lavender essential oil and ground meal. Stir until well combined.

3. To use, apply a small amount of scrub to damp washcloth, sponge or shower scrunchy. Scrub wet skin in shower, rinse and pat dry.

It smells like lemons and lavender to me. I’ve had one- the Homes and Gardens- that doesn’t. I bought 2. I don’t regret it. I’ll use them both. But I’ll probably try another brand next time.

Cant show a picture. Boo boo is gone already. Just buy the real deal. Lots of bad essential oils and they actually make athings worse. Maybe they smell good. If thats what you want fine but they arent pure or clean

I am an essential oil fanatic... there I admit it.

I have several other brands of lavender oil, and they’re ok. But My massage therapist used this on me last time, and instantly I knew I had to order some for home.

In my opinion, This is equal to Aveda and Young Living and better value. This lavender is the creme de la creme.... it doesn’t get better than this.

I use it topically as a rub for aches and pains, for relaxation in my bath and diffuser. Again ...look no farther... this is the best.

I use lavender essential oil in a diffuser for migraine relief. Aura Cacia has always delivered for me before, but for some reason this bottle of lavender smelled kind of weird compared to what I'm used to. It's hard to describe the exact scent difference, but it's stronger and less pleasant than what I'm used to when I think of lavender. Maybe they started using a different strain...?
