Safari App Extension Install and Updates

Honey Safari App Extension

Apple recently made changes that will now require you to install the Honey extension directly from the App Store. Apple’s release of Mac OS 10.15 (Catalina) will remove all existing Safari Extensions from your browser. To download the extension and use it to find savings, you’ll need to make sure that your system is up to date or running with Mac OS 10.14.4 or above and enable Honey within your Safari preferences.

If Honey was installed prior to updating to the new app extension, then you will not have to access your Safari Preferences to enable.

Enabling Honey

After you enable our app extension, the Honey button* will now appear to the left of your search bar.

*If you don't see the ' h' next to your search bar try restarting Safari or your laptop/computer.

What Operating System do I have?

Click on the  icon on the upper left corner and then About this Mac or update to Mojave 10.14.4 in the App Store.
