This one works as advertised. It's sharp, cuts two layers of fabric with ease, and the frame doesn't wobble.I had purchased a cheap one for half the price and returned it on the same day. That one looked good but was totally impractical.

I should've known to buy Fiskars, but I'm always trying to save a little money here and there. So I purchased an off-brand by Walmart ... big mistake. The off-brand had blades that weren't lined up and it mangled the fabric instead of cutting. I returned to Walmart and purchased this pair of Fiskars. They cut beautifully and I highly recommend these.

It works as expected, I use it to shear the edges of cotton pillowcases when I don't feel like finishing the edges. The sheared edges look nice and uniform, so I can't complain. I'm not sure what else I can say about it- it feels heavy and comfortable to hold, I have small hands and have no trouble with the grip at all. It's very obvious that the quality is there, and I imagine this will last many, many years. Worth it if you work with cotton and like to take shortcuts. I have a serger and still use this quite a bit.

I've had pinking shears that advertise as "lightweight" but this one truly is. The handle is soft and it's got wide enough blades that you can open them pretty wide. caveat: I'm a short woman with a fairly small hand so if your hand is larger it'll open all the way for you.
