I bought this scriber needle as a gift to my mother and she really liked it! It arrived well packaged in bubble wrap and the delivery itself was very fast. My mother said the needle is firm and well attached to the body of the tool (she had similar tools in the past where the needle was very flimsy or even fell off the tool). The needle was long and thin, perfect for what my mother wanted it for (royal icing on cookies). She also said the tool has a good grip with is very important and is a big plus since her artisan hands aren't as firm as they were years ago, unfortunately. It also comes with a protective cap for the needle, for when you are storing it away. All in all, my mother was very happy with this gift and so am I, I would definitely buy from this company again. Great quality product, it deserves 5 stars.

This is the best tool in my life. I decorate cookies and cakes. This tool does it all when it comes to royal icing cookies. It is thin and sharp, but long enough to reach. It is great for adding small details, cleaning up mistakes, popping air bubbles, and moving icing around to create very fine details. I think that the handle has a good feel and length for ease of use. It feels very similar to the Ticonderoga yellow pencils. It is light and comes with a small cover for the tip. This is a life saver since I don't get stabbed as I rummage around in my drawer. PME is also one of the preferred brands in the cookie community.

I wish I had several more of these!

The perfect tool for coaxing wet royal icing into tight spots, removing a crusty bit, fixing a bubble or error, re-positioning an applied eye, dragging dots into heart shapes etc on wet on wet piping.
