Work well, used them in jelly mason jars. I just dipped assembled sticks in the melted wax before using. I put wicks in the jars before pouring, but most slide around and have to be recentered, no problem at all(Next time ill secure them straight with a drop of wax before pouring). 10lb bag of soy wax filled 2 cases of mason jars(24 half pint jars). I scented the melted wax after i dipped the sticks in, i used a whole bottle of pine oil(small bottle) for 12 jars of candles, hopefully it makes them strongly scented. Highly recommended. Just sit at table and assemble.

The wicks work well and burn nicely. I'd recommend only using one piece of the wood instead of crossing two pieces. The flame gets really high with the two pieces and it produces some smoke.

Easy to assemble and work well. Have their own, smokey scent when burning. I do wish there was a way to make them shorter without them falling apart. I tried to get around that problem by cutting them after the wax had hardened but it would still fall apart. I improvised and made the shorter candles with only one piece rather than two.

Hey it's Nat, I used these for homemade wine bottle candles. I liked the initial look of these wicks but they are quite flimsy and tricky to put together. I also broke a couple pieces when putting them together. All the candles were gifted so I do not have feedback about how the wicks burned.

Don’t buy these!! Even coating them in wax multiple times, they burn so strongly that they are a fire hazard. The flame on these was about 4 inches high. Your candles will be all burnt up in a couple hours and your entire house will be in a cloud of smoke from the amount of smoke they put off. Spend a little extra money and buy wood-wicks from an actual candle supply distributor, these are absolutely awful. I can’t even give away the test candles I made because I don’t want my friends to burn their houses down with these.

I made my first candle and this wick is great. I used to make candles and got frustrated because they never burned well so I gave up. The candle I made this time was just in a mason jar with some old leftover wax tarts and it burns beautifully. Very Very happy!!!

These are really excellent wood wicks, you just have to be a little careful not to oversize your wick in your candle. They crackle when burning, usually, not all the time.

Easy to use, burns VERY hot and therefore leaves a circle dip in the candles. If you are looking for a "Crackling Wick" you can hear the faint whisper if you are sitting within 1 ft of the lit candle. I am disappointed, as I made the 10 candles for Christmas gifts.

Brûle très bien. Satisfait du produit, seulement dommage qu'il n'offre pas de mèche un peu plus longue pour certain contenant pour chandelle plus grand. Son du crépitement de la mèche qui brûle très agréable.
