I have named him "Tiny Rick Skull"
This tiny skull is the perfect model for remote learning. I can show my students an anatomically correct model while teaching online. The sutures are very detailed, and you can remove the top to show the inner structures, like the sella turcica. I have full size skulls for labs, but for my tiny students, this skull is perfect!

Don't hesitate to purchase your own mini skull model. This item is very well made from quality materials. It's beautifully detailed and very realistic. I'm an artist studying forensic reconstruction, so I was impressed with the anatomical accuracy. I bought one for desk decor, but I'll be buying more. They'll make great study tools, Halloween decor, and even gifts for the right person. The jaw is articulated and held with a strong spring. The skullcap opens/closes revealing a small cavity - the perfect size to store my AirPod pro case.

This is so small and cute! I’m not too sure about durability only because the jaw moves separately so if it were to be handled roughly, you very well might break that lower jaw bone off. It is so detailed though, amazing!

A good purchase. Over time the top of the skull has loosened up but not enough for it to just fall off, yet. The spring for the mouth is a little tight. I would prefer if the spring was replaced with a different mechanism to keep the mouth open for when I hold it with one hand.

Don't hesitate to buy this if you're an artist. It's a fantastic deal! I compared it to my expensive life size skull I bought from a medical supply place and it's exactly the same!

Used this to supplement for when I didn’t have access to a better quality skull. Learning on a larger size is better, but this will help supplement.

This little skull saved me when it came to learning the different bones in the skull. Overall it is accurate, there may be a couple of holes that don't start/end in the exact spot they are supposed to. Due to the small size, it was super convenient to have hanging around so I could practice labeling. My only complaint would be that some of the "edges" haven't been fully shaved off, but that is not a huge deal to me. Not to mention it is a pretty neat desk decor.

I am taking an Anatomy for Artists class at my college and wanted a model to help with my proportions homework. I was pleasantly surprised by the heft of the skull, and its joining between skull cap and the rest of the skull are quite solid without being difficult to open or examine. The details of the sculpt are excellent and clear to read. The spring in the mouth is a little stiffer than I'd like, so it keeps the jaw firmly shut, but I would have liked a bit more freedom to open the jaw and examine articulation between the joint.
I did sit and measure it with a compass and it is absolutely in line with ideal proportions. It's worth your time if you're a visual and kinetic learner like me.

Love this skull, which I’ve named Cortez because I’m a weirdo haha. I’m an artist and using references is very important in the creation process.

The material is as said, quality and light weight,

Sizes are accurate

And the anatomy is also accurate for a generic male skull

Worth the buy 🙂

This is so perfect for anatomy students who don't want to spend between $60-160 to assist with their studies.
It's a super cute size but anatomically correct for its little size.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly as described

Purchased this for art purposes, exactly as described. Only thing is the spring for the jaw is very very strong, takes a little effort to open, and the jaw joints are not connected so you can sort of pull the whole jaw down, this isn't that much of an issue tho as I usually keep it closed anyways. Good product, size fits in my hand.
