Our guest, DEI expert Allyson Livingstone, Ph.D., discussed athenahealth's "Moments That Matter" initiative with Hannah Steiman. "We need to think more strategically about how to center the employee..." Allyson said. "How can we meet people where they are and help them grow and excel given the current context we're working in? We started thinking, 'What are the moments that matter to our employees across the life cycle? And how do we show up to support them building the skills and leveraging the resources they need to really excel at those particular moments that matter?'"     *Genuinely value our opinions as an employee. The company regularly provides a platform for everyone to voice out ideas and concerns. I feel empowered, knowing that my opinions are heard considered, creating a sense of ownership and unity within the team. * The company knows how to appreciate their employees, and that goes a long way in boosting morale. *Peak Support also has strong employee development initiatives, and invests in employees' growth. We are highly encouraged to suggest trainings that would help develop our skills and competencies. *Competitive Compensation Package in comparison to similar industries

      I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Peak Support (United States)

      Interview

      Interviewed online, then in person. The co-owner took furious notes on what “my strategy” would be. Ghosted my recruiter after the in person interview. Recruiter was just as confused as I was but then we figured it out. They were just looking for a cheap way to figure out how to do what they wanted to do without paying an expensive salary for it. They promoted an internal individual contributor to take on this particular area, probably trying to equip them with what they learned from myself and other candidates they interviewed. Shady as the say is long. Beware.
