How long have you worked at UNT?

Since July 1, 2019.

What is your department and what does your position entail?

I work in the International Student and Scholar Services office as a Senior Immigration Advisor. In a nutshell, I help international students navigate the complex world of immigration rules and regulations while they pursue their degrees at UNT.

What do you like about your position?

I came to this country as an international student many years ago and I love that I can now help a new generation of international students successfully pursue their educational journeys. I cannot think of a better way to give back to a system that supported me in my educational journey two decades ago.

What is your favorite place to eat on or around campus?

Oriental Garden and Spiral Diner.

I am originally from Chennai, India. I have lived in Dallas for over 20 years. I am an avid cyclist and I Iove discussing politics, watching movies, listening to music, and taking active vacations. I hope to do the entire El Camino de Santiago in the not so distant future.
