Anthony Migchels: Far from being a sign of ‘strength’, the current rise of the Dollar is wreaking havoc not just in emerging markets, but in the biggest economies of the World. Even worse: it’s all based on a terrible bluff. The Fed’s maniacal interest rate hikes are tearing apart not just the international economy, but America itself, and will soon have to be abandoned as the next mega shock is just months away.

Dick Eastman: China knew the strength of a weaker yuan. The U.K. can benefit from the pound falling against the dollar, since it acts like raising tariffs on imports and increasing the demand for British goods from dollar holders around the world. (Note: there are many times more dollars in accounts outside the USA than the amount notes and deposit within.)With a weaker pound and with tax cuts the Truss government may well have pulled an economic miracle had she not been talked out of it. Will the Fed bring upon the United States domestic real economy the opposite of the benefits it is giving others? Yes of course it will, but that is the intention of the Fed as well as the BoE and the E.U.C.B. They raise the price of borrowing and they drain out money from potential investors giving in return sterile-because-non-spendable bonds at the same time Big Finance sets its own policy of reduced lending. THIS IS NOT TO “FIGHT INFLATION” — A DECEITFUL TERM BECAUSE THERE IS NO INFLATION OF THE MONEY SUPPLY, THERE IS ONLY DEFLATION, DEFLATION THAT CAUSES RISING PRICES THROUGH SHOCK TO THE SUPPLY CURVES OF REAL DOMESTIC-ECONOMY GOODS AND SERVICES, since in deflation when there are fewer sales, firms are forced to raise the prices offered to their remaining buyers because they must cover fixed financing and rent costs and increasing input costs ( since suppliers face the same new constraints). Not only that, as deflation and the other supply shocks (lockdowns, sanctions, net-zero regulations and cancellations (pipelines, refineries) and simple Democrat war on the their natural enemy the middle class small-business owners, the wiped out competition means greater monopoly power for the survivors and for those that continue the struggle with diminished demand the added inefficiencies of operating at an output too small for reaching the optimum for which their plant and equipment were built and organized. This is not a Fed blunder — it is part and parcel of the new Morganthau Plan so obviously directed at the USA, Britain, Europe and all the West. Blowing up gas pipelines, shelling the biggest nuclear powerplant, taking away farms, tearing down power plants, cultural sabotage of education and business environments. The Fed knows what it is doing
