Kurt Russell in Oklahoma for induction in Hall of Great Western Performers

Actor Kurt Russell was in Oklahoma over the weekend for his induction into the Hall of Great Western Performers at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum.

The 61st Western Heritage Awards were held Saturday at the museum in Oklahoma City.

Russell also took part in a panel discussion at the museum.

The Western Heritage Awards honors individuals who have made significant contributions to Western heritage through creative works in literature, music, television and film, according to the museum.

Burt Reynolds, who passed in 2018, was also inducted as a Great Western Performer.
