Overview

Biggs Army Airfield (BIF) is an FAR Part 139 compliant airfield with a single 2.5 mile runway (10th longest in the US), low traffic volume, and a non-precision instrument approach.  The airfield is 24-hour capable, is designated as a military power projection platform, lands and services all categories of military and civilian aircraft, up to and including Category E aircraft.

Mission Statement

The mission of Biggs Army Airfield is to provide full airfield services with a 24 hour capability for power projection and installation support, for the aviation assets of the four military services, the Department of Justice, and other government flight operations.
