CJ Hopkins here ... in addition to writing award-winning stage plays and the occasional dystopian sci-fi novel, I also write political satire and commentary, mostly focusing on global capitalism, propaganda, the corporate media, and other ideological topics.

My columns are published on the Consent Factory blog, and then regularly reposted at OffGuardian, ColdType, ZeroHedge, The Unz Review, Dissident Voice, and many other alternative media outlets, and have been translated into numerous languages.

If you've read any of my pieces, then you know that no mainstream publication is going to pay me to write what I write about or to write about it the way I do. So I've finally joined the 21st Century and am making use of all this new technology. In addition to launching the Consent Factory, I'm on Twitter, and (God help me) Facebook, and I'm doing this Patreon thing.

The way it works is, you sign up to send me a monthly contribution (whatever you can afford, even as little as $1 a month), and I keep doing what I'm already doing, except that now you're paying me to do it. There aren't any tiers, giveaways, or anything. Basically, I'm asking you to pay me for my work, because ... well, nobody else is going to.
