Witches In Ukraine To Perform Three-part Ritual In An Effort To Isolate And Topple Vladimir Putin

A group of witches in Ukraine is planning to hold a three-part ritual to punish and stop Russian President Vladimir Putin. 

Taking to Instagram, Kiev-based Witch Cauldron shop put out a statement, saying the 'witches' will perform the ritual in collaboration with their foreign partners.

In their post last week, the group called on all witches, Ukrainian and not, to participate in the three-part ritual. The first part is reportedly set to take place on Thursday on top of a mountain in Kapishche.  

"On March 31, on the 29th lunar day, the day of corruption and curses, we, the witches of Ukraine, in collaboration with foreign partners, will perform a ritual of punishing the enemy of the Ukrainian people – Vladimir Putin," the shop said on Instagram.

The first phase of the ritual is set to happen at Ukraine’s “place of power”, an apparent reference to the Bald Mountain outside of Kyiv. The site is a location in Slavic folk mythology and is linked to witchcraft.

The second stage is to be held in an unnamed “Slavic country” with the help of foreign witches. The ritual is set to conclude with the creation of a “stone sack” for Putin which will allegedly cause him to face “isolation, ousting from power and loss of support from the inner circle”.

Many commenters expressed worry about the ritual, but the shop assured followers that they are perfectly safe and thought out the plan in a separate Instagram post.

It has been more than a month since Russia invaded Ukraine, forcing millions to seek refuge in various European countries. 

According to UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, there have been 2,858 civilian casualties, including 1,104 deaths since Moscow launched its war against Kyiv.  

The UN report said that 221 men, 167 women, 30 boys and 15 girls were killed in the Russian attacks, while the gender of 51 children and 620 adults could not yet be determined.
