Kindly reminder
These boards are adjustable current limiting, fixed 3A current limit.
Please make sure that this module within its working range before using.
Please don't output short circuit, otherwise the board would burn out.
When setting the parameter, please make sure output voltage is stable before using the module to avoid any possible damage.

Please check if the product package is intact before opening.
Please check if the negative and positive terminals are accessed correctly before operating.
The input voltage should not be over 28 V to avoid damage.
Customer reviews
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Customers like the performance and value of the transformer. They mention that it works well, is reliable, and is great for all sorts of electronic projects. Some have issues with adjustability. Opinions are mixed on size, ease of use, quality, output voltage, and noise.
AI-generated from the text of customer reviews
Customers like the performance of the transformer. For example, they mention it works well, the potentiometer works well to dial the voltage output, and it's simple to use. Some say it'll work great for all sorts of electronic projects and that it runs reliably. Some mention it'd be a dream in terms of form factor and performance.
"It worked great when I tested one of them. So I permanently glued it to my setup. And now the potentiometer is not changing the voltage on 3 of them...." Read more
"Seems to work well even at low load if the input voltage is at least a few volts higher than the output voltage...." Read more
"The actual functionality of the product is really good...." Read more
"I used 4 of these to swap the fans on my Ender 3 v2 and they worked out great!..." Read more
Customers like the value of the transformer. They say it's excellent value for money, great as a low cost electronic firework, and incredibly cheap.
"...Love it overall, great package size, efficient and a wonderful value. Good to have in the bin for later projects." Read more
"...and stay dang steady.. These are without a doubt the best cost to preformance ratio bucks you can buy......" Read more
"...this tiny board which is not convenient for many but overall great value for the price." Read more
"...Excellent value for the dollar, and they do work just fine...." Read more
Customers are mixed about the quality of the transformer. Some mention that the build quality is good, reliable, and stable. They also say that it comes in perfect condition. However, some customers report that the quality is fragile and could be better. They mention that they have encountered a few broken components and that the boards are very tiny and easily damaged.
"...I'm using with 12v input and 3.3 volts output. Very stable with almost no current draw when output is idle." Read more
"The boards are very tiny, and easily damaged. I had a circuit that was working using them that stopped working and ruined a bunch of components...." Read more
"...They're extremely easy to use and the build quality is good too, aside from the functional but impossibly cheap set screw...." Read more
"...So it's too cheap to really be useful...." Read more
Customers are mixed about the output voltage of the transformer. Some mention that it manages the voltage on the capacitor very nicely, and can regulate power at 5V very well. However, others say that the potentiometer changes the voltage to an extreme amount, and it's hard to control voltages beyond the nearest 0.5 volts.
"...So I permanently glued it to my setup. And now the potentiometer is not changing the voltage on 3 of them...." Read more
"...This is a high efficiency buck converter, good for actually pretty decent loads, and you get 6 of them...." Read more
"...bit tedious and requires a small (tiny) screwdriver and it is somewhat hard to dial in, but it works with a little patience...." Read more
"...are incredibly cheap and excellent quality.. over preform and stay dang steady.. These are without a doubt the best cost to preformance ratio bucks..." Read more
Customers are mixed about the size of the transformer. Some mention that it's very compact and can easily fit it into projects. Others say that the boards are very tiny and easily damaged. The pot is small and the buck converters are smaller than picture suggests.
"...Love it overall, great package size, efficient and a wonderful value. Good to have in the bin for later projects." Read more
"The boards are very tiny, and easily damaged. I had a circuit that was working using them that stopped working and ruined a bunch of components...." Read more
"...This looked like a good option - small and "agile".As others have written - it's HARD to adjust...." Read more
"...These work perfectly.Pros:- Extremely small- 2 +/- output pads- No noise-..." Read more
Customers are mixed about the ease of use of the transformer. Some mention it's nice and easy to set up, and easy wires. However, some say the potentiometer is way too finicky and nearly impossible to set. They also say it came with no instructions or data sheet.
"...They're extremely easy to use and the build quality is good too, aside from the functional but impossibly cheap set screw...." Read more
"...but for my use of 5V to 3V the potentiometer is just way, way too finicky and nearly impossible to adjust with accuracy...." Read more
"...Setting the voltage out put, is fairly simple. Worked, went from 20v to 12v no problem little fiddly but not to bad." Read more
"...Simple to use, gets the job done.No idea why Amazon wanted them rated for Warmth and Sheerness but tossed in 5 stars for those too...." Read more
Customers are mixed about the noise of the transformer. Some mention that it produces relatively low noise on the output, and is great for a silent mod. Others say that the noise is high, annoying in an otherwise silent room, and the pitch changes randomly. The voltage seems unstable, and audio is subject to interference.
"...have mentioned: these are noisy (RF) devices, so particularly audio is subject to interference...." Read more
"...Pros:- Extremely small- 2 +/- output pads- No noise-..." Read more
"...and they were getting way too hot, and there was a ton of noise on the output line..." Read more
"...seem stable enough for micro controller. It does make a funny noise when under ANY load... I think I can deal with it" Read more
Customers find the adjustability of the transformer difficult and fragile. They also say the output voltage adjustment is too sensitive and difficult to use. Some customers report that the adjustment potentiometer is very small and sensitive.
"...As others have mentioned, adjusting voltage is a bit tedious and requires a small (tiny) screwdriver and it is somewhat hard to dial in, but it..." Read more
"...As others have written - it's HARD to adjust...." Read more
"...on your application but I do like the idea of being able to fine tune the output...." Read more
"...The tiny volt adjustment screw is extremely sensitive so a small turn can jump from 6 to 7 then turning the opposite direction and it jumps from 7..." Read more

EDIT: I changed my mind. They are working really good now. Yeah the potentiometer can be finicky but it works. By trial and error you can get the right voltage. Just be careful to go really slow and gentle while changing voltage. Don’t push down too hard and turn slowly.

The only bad thing is there are no mounting holes, no great way to secure this in any project you might be working on, and the through holes for in and out are irregularly spaced so it can't be used on a breadboard or a wire wrap board! Each pair of in/out pins have 0.1" standard spacing but their distance from one another is not on that grid so you'll never seat this board on to anything but a custom PCB! Baffling. Even worse because there are no other mount points.
I have read other reviews of input voltages exceeding the rating of the filter capacitor, so it's something to be wary of, but unfortunately there is no way to check the voltage rating of it so I cannot vouch for that.

As others have mentioned, adjusting voltage is a bit tedious and requires a small (tiny) screwdriver and it is somewhat hard to dial in, but it works with a little patience. Make sure your input power and polarity is correct or you will fire the circuit board. I tend to use a large heat shrink tube to enclose/protect the circuit board after hooking things up.
