Applying your moisturizer can be tricky. After all, your face is a complicated place. Fortunately, there's an easy method we've been touting since 1952 that still works wonderfully today. Here's how to do it.

Use approximately a quarter-sized amount. We picked Olay Regenerist Micro-sculpting Cream Moisturizer to get model Brie's face nice and glowing.

1. Up and Out Across Your Forehead

For the top half of your face, start from the center of your face, then move outwards and up.

2. From Your Nose Across Your Cheeks

Same goes for your nose. Use approximately a quarter-sized drop to avoid leaving your skin feeling greasy, and be sure to rub it evenly across your entire face so the moisturizer doesn't settle into the pores around your hairline.

3. Swirl It In

Ensure your cream gets into your fine lines — which can be visibly plumped up with moisturizer — by swirling it in using circular motions. Again, use your ring finger and do so gently to prevent tugging or tearing your delicate skin.

Now that your skin is freshly moisturized, you're good to go!
