If years of brow-raising, frowning, and daily sunscreen neglect have left you with etched lines across your forehead, don't worry (seriously, stop that furrowing!). Here are 5 anti-wrinkle tips to help hide the lines and make you look younger.

1. Choose the right makeup primer.
It's not what's in your foundation that counts, it's what's under it. A light-reflecting primer like Laura Geller Spackle Tinted Under Make-Up Primer (Buy now: $32, amazon.com) camouflages fine lines and keeps makeup from settling into—and emphasizing—entrenched furrows. 2. Use line-plumping creams.
Moisturizers with peptides or retinol and retinoids stimulate collagen to plump skin and fill in creases, says David Bank, MD, a dermatologist in Mount Kisco, NY. Use peptide-packed Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Lift and Firm Day Cream SPF 30 (Buy now: $75, amazon.com) during the day and Roc Retinol Correxion Deep wrinkle Filler (Buy now: $20, target.com) with retinol at night—its narrow tip traces directly over lines for targeted application.

3. Go bold with bangs.

Soft, brow-skimming bangs are the easiest and most stylish veil for wrinkles, says hairstylist Rodney Cutler, owner of Cutler Salons. Pay attention to the placement of your part: "Make a low side part right above your pupil—a center part will only draw attention to the forehead by framing it," he explains.

4. Try Frownies.
Frownies Forehead & Between Eyes (Buy now: $20 for 144, amazon.com)—a favorite of dermatologists—are stiff adhesive "bandages" that hold skin in place to prevent furrowing while you doze. "If you wake with creases from scrunching your face in your sleep, these patches can help," says Jessica Wu, MD, a board-certified dermatologist and assistant clinical professor of dermatology at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

5. Invest in in-office treatments.
For those with major wrinkles that aren't responding well to over the counter solutions, Botox and Dysport are the only surefire forehead fixers, says Bank. But you'll need to get injections every 3 to 6 months to maintain the effects, and it'll cost about $400 per treatment. To plump out especially deep lines, fillers like Juvéderm or Restylane (about $450-$750 per syringe, with results that last up to a year) may be needed.
