Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai’s life exemplifies the glorious mission of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. This mission’s alchemy works its way when one aligns oneself to the understanding that ‘Sai’s Mission is My Mission’. It is then that from ‘working for Sai’ or ‘working with Sai’, one starts ‘working as Sai’ and achieves the pinnacles of selfless service and spiritual evolution.

AN EXCERPT FROM THE DIVINE MESSAGE
What I want to convey on this New Year’s Day is that if you want to work for Sai, you have to work as Sai. Anything less than that would not be a good contribution to Sai's work.
Sai is selflessness personified. Nothing more, nothing less. There is not an iota of selfishness in Sai. Sai is completely selfless. As long as you worry about your watches and phones and homes and families, you will hold yourself back from doing good. You will not be free.
This does not mean that everybody abandons everything and says,’I am now free’. In fact, you will still not be free because you might think have abandoned everything’. The day it doesn't matter whether these things are there or not is the day you will be truly free.
There is no effort to get rid of anything, there is no effort to gain and hold on to anything. Both don't exist in that space. That is when we will be free. Till then we are bound. Knowingly or unknowingly, we are all bound, we are all dependent. And for as long as we remain in this state, we cannot claim that Sai’s work has been done.
Service activities will go on, more people will come, more things will happen – but all of this is happening under a great Divine will. It is not my will, your will or anybody's will. You may like to attribute it to somebody, some person, some name or form, but that is entirely up to you.
The truth is that there is one Brahman and everything is His will. That Brahman works with those who are pure and selfless, those whose only motto in life is to do good to others. And those who are not worried about themselves. They are only concerned about others. To such people, Divinity comes on its own, looking for them, embraces them and transforms them into the Divine and thus achieves great things.
