Bill Gates Says He Uses Private Jets to Fight ‘Climate Change’ Because He’s ‘the Solution’

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has claimed that it’s ok for him to use private jets to travel around the world to lecture people about their “carbon footprint” because he’s “the solution” to “climate change.”

During an interview with the BBC, reporter Amol Rajan asked Gates if his use of private jets makes him a “hypocrite.”

Gates responded by arguing that his private jet use is excusable because he’s doing much more than anyone else to combat climate change.

He claims his own carbon footprint isn’t an issue due to the “billions of dollars” he spends on climate change activism.

“Should I stay at home and not come to Kenya and learn about farming and malaria?” Gates said to Rajan.

“I’m comfortable with the idea that not only am I not part of the problem by paying for the offsets, but also through the billions that my Breakthrough Energy Group is spending, that I’m part of the solution,” Gates added.

As Slay News reported in September last year, Gates was also spotted arriving in Blaine, Washington in a private helicopter before being whisked away to a conference in a gas-guzzling SUV where he gave a speech lecturing the public about “climate change.”

According to an EPA study, Helicopters are the biggest source of lead emissions in the U.S.

Gates, who has celebrated the energy crisis as a good thing, owns four private jets at a combined cost of $194 million dollars.

In 2017 alone, Gates flew more than 213,000 miles on 59 private jet flights, a study carried out by Linnaeus University economics professor Stefan Gössling found.

Gates emitted an estimated 1,760 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

The figure is over a hundred times more than the emissions per capita in the United States, according to data from the World Bank.

Elsewhere during the interview, Gates said he was surprised that he was targeted by “conspiracy theorists” for pushing vaccines during the pandemic.

Gates also took aim at the currently richest man in the world, Elon Musk.

As Slay News reported, Gates argues that Musk is not a real philanthropist because he doesn’t use his wealth to push mass vaccinations for the public.

According to Gates, Musk, who owns the rocket company SpaceX, should forget about sending people to Mars and, instead, focus on ways to vaccinate the world’s population.

While Rajan appeared to grill Gates on some topics, he suspiciously didn’t mention the billionaire’s relationship with deceased child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
