🗳 Local Elections 2024: Mayor of Tees Valley 🗳 The third election to the post of Mayor of Tees Valley will take place on 2 May 2024. Incumbent Conservative mayor Ben Houchen is standing for re-election against Labour’s Chris McEwen and several other candidates. Government and local leaders in Teesside agreed a devolution deal in October 2015, leading to the creation of the Tees Valley Combined Authority (TVCA).
