I DEMAND A SECOND SEASON OF THIS GEM! Little Demon has a the power to summon a wonderful mix of genuine laughs, heartwarming sweetness, and thoughtful reflections on life, adolescence, friendship. and parenting, and It does this without being cloying. It's irreverent, gory, outright FUN! but genuine; something that truly our society of "politically correct extremists" needs, and its loosing it along the way. It is a true gem, and a work of heart, therefore Please, please PLEASE! FX conjure a second season to keep up the wonderful work done. so far.

It's well animated and reasonably entertaining, but it's not particularly funny despite solid performances and animation. It's a very inconsistent show which can't decide if it wants to be drama or comedy, and does neither particularly well. This show would have been far better if it dropped the comedic elements entirely, and focused more on serious drama, action and horror. There's so much juxtapositioning going on that the tone is all over the place, and the show is just super inconsistent in so many ways (that any analytical viewer will immediately notice). It gets too serious delving into topics like body dysmorphia, depression and other emotional stuff which is really jarring given that it's billed as a 'sitcom', especially one where people are constantly ripped to shreds in fountains of gore. Inconsistent is how I'd describe the whole thing. Sometimes it's funny, sometimes it's all serious, sometimes it's very action-focused. This is a drama with some comedy and action elements. Not truly a comedy series because it takes itself far too seriously (and not in a poignant profound and realistic way like Bojack Horseman does it). This is a show in which our protagonist violently murders 2 kids (full-on Tetsuo style gore body explosions) in the school bathroom in the first episode, and it's never mentioned again. I guess nobody noticed. The 'best friend' character witnesses this and seems totally fine with it. He's a lot more concerned about his body dysmorphia and isn't even traumatised by seeing two kids ripped to pieces by a demon. The body dysmorphia storyline basically ends with the moral of trying to help people is a bad idea, which is a bizarre outcome considering the character is not some punching bag...we're actually supposed to be quite sympathetic to him. This show just doesn't make sense most of the time. It's a shame too, because I love Aubrey Plaza and I love Danny DeVito. Their performances are fine, but this just isn't really a comedy series frankly. It's more drama and that's a waste of the setting and premise. I found myself losing interest about 5 episodes in, though I had been constantly questioning things from the first episode. To the 'critics' who 1) are upset because gore and satan etc, and 2) are giving this 5/5 or 10/10 scores just for triggering group 1: Please grow up. All of you. Totally unreasonable to review bomb with hyperbolic negative or unrealistically high scores. Please grow up! This show is really kinda average and I'd give it 6 out of 10 or so. 2.5/5 in this instance. It has positives, but it has an equally large amount of negatives.

Little demon is without a doughy the best thing I've watched for long time.I'd give it 100⭐️ if I could.and it's upsetting the real demons and there organised religion.which is so great.they should look inside and see where the real evil lies.this is the flip side to a very old conspiracy theory and I think the most honest side.also I'm in love with Laura feinberg who is my dream girl.a witch oh yea and tattoos.she's my first hand drawn girl crush 😂😂😂 please please please don't cancel this amazing back story of Marjorie Taylor greens childhood.it's wonderful 😂😂👍😀

Arguably one of the best of all time in adult animation. Love the story great characters. Would watch at least 3 more seasons of it! Can't wait for the next one!!

Hilarious show! Love everything about it.

This show is pretty solid, the occasional generational humor joke doesn't land. But there's plenty of jokes that do. Not to mention the countless references horror fans will enjoy, down to more obscure references like the bone gun from Existanz. (Which pairs nicely with some of the demons, the designers clearly had a lot of fun and enjoy Cronenberg.) I think where this show failed is that its unfortunately been released in a time where (especially animated) shows featuring a female lead tend to be jam packed full of tired and unabashed pandering. Theres absolutely nothing wrong with girl power and communicating a message, this show does it right. Because of this trend, I can't imagine its going to get the numbers they were hoping for, as audiences are getting burned out on being preached at by moralist busybodies. Overall, a solid toon with some good cynical laughs with clear roots in horror fandom.

Little Demon has a worthy premise and a stellar cast, it's just a shame that the showrunners forgot to bring any decent jokes along with them.

it was pretty good given a chance

Last couple of episodes were really good. Much better than the first 3 or 4. Worth staying with it. I'd look forward to season 2.

Original, making great fun from horror and devil stories show with a great picture of an unusual parents-daughter relationship.

Really funny heartwarming amazing show honestly I'm very happy with how accurate the occult themes were the daughters relationship with her mother and her estranged father is very realistic and believable I really appreciate this show I hope it gets renewed

i really like the characters here, they all seem real with emotions though i dont like some episode concepts. the episode with the "furries" was my least favorite, but i see so much potential and i want to see more.

Aubrey Plaza and both Devito's are insanely good in this. Side characters are fun and there is a decent and coherent story mixed in with fun
