Superstars upset over Mark Cuban segment, SD treated differently, more Submitted by Matthew Tremley on Monday, November 17, 2003 at 4:24 PM EST
- Many of the superstars backstage at Survivor Series were upset that the WWE Cruiserweight Championship match between Tajiri & Jamie Noble was bumped back to Heat, so they could have the segment between The Coach, Eric Bischoff, Mark Cuban, and Randy Orton. Most feel that it was wrong to give time on the actual show to non-wrestlers instead of two legit workers.
- There could be a legit rivalry going on between Smackdown & Raw at the moment. There are some people backstage in the WWE right now who feel that Smackdown is getting treated as the "Secondary Brand". The three main incidents that really showcase this feeling from last night's Suvivor Series are:
Goldberg talking down to WWE Champion Brock Lesnar
The Undertaker getting buried by Kane
Tajiri/Noble getting bumped so they could have the segment featuring The Coach, Eric Bischoff, Mark Cuban, and Randy Orton.
- During the Shane McMahon/Kane Ambulance match last night at the Survivor Series, many backstage believed that Shane being able to overcome such a beating at the hands of Kane and continue wrestling was unrealistic. Many superstars placed in the same position would not be allowed to carry on in the match like Shane did last night.
