Terrorists retreating from Novoazovsk to border

KYIV, August 25 /Ukrinform/. The Dnipro-1 and Donbas battalions have repulsed an attack by terrorists on Markine and Novoazovsk in Donetsk region.

Militants are retreating towards the border with Russia, according to Mariupol city website 0629.com.ua.

"Ukrainian fighters have managed to destroy ten APCs of the enemy. Now the terrorists are retreating to the Russian border, and Dnipro-1 fighters are following them," security forces told reporters.

Dnipro-1 said that residents of Mariupol had become volunteers, with up to a hundred people deciding to defend their hometown.
