Men’s Choral Concert: A Performance of Duruflé’s Messe “Cum Jubilo”

Visit the Shrine of our Lady of Guadalupe on April 28, 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm to hear a magnificent performance of Maurice Duruflé’s Messe “Cum Jubilo” by a men’s choir. This choral masterpiece blends traditional Gregorian chant with modern harmonies. The “Cum Jubilo” is a setting of the ordinary of the Mass that blends intricate organ accompaniment, rich harmonies, and soaring melodies, creating a powerful and uplifting musical experience. The piece is a testament to Duruflé’s mastery of choral writing and his ability to blend the old and the new in a way that is both innovative and deeply moving.

This concert is free and open to the public.
