Amazing Organic Wheat Grass Powder.
I love this Organic Wheat Grass. So healthy for the body. If you Google it you will read about all the properties it does for the body. I just mix mine with Cold Milk, sometimes Apple Juice. I let it sit for a few seconds and stir, it up a little. After I drink it , I add water to my glass to get whats left behind on the sides. I really like it. I hope you do to.

Fortunately the wheat grass has a sweeter flavor than other 'greens', but it is still a strong product and can be difficult for someone to swallow who is not into a 'green' way of living. For those who eat to eat healthy and not necessarily because they love the taste, this product is awesome in a smoothie. I don't think I would go with mixing this into a glass of water that some seem to enjoy, but clearly there are those who love the taste of greens and those who don't. It's like kids and broccoli, some love it and others hate it. But for health purposes, this is an awesome product well worth adding to your diet. I, for one, will not drink this in water. I don't care for the taste of alfalfa. But it does have a lovely sweet taste when added to my smoothie in the morning, and I do feel an instantaneous 'pep' and burst of energy afterwards. I've made the mistake of adding too much and had my husband come forth complaining that he's not a cow. So it is very easy to overdue the proportion and create too distinct a taste that could ruin an otherwise tasty breakfast smoothie. We have indulged in both chlorella and spirulina and I can assure you, the difference is overwhelming as these two items we can barely tolerate no matter what method we use to mask the taste. Clearly the wheat grass is tastier, sweeter, milder, and less offensive, but it does taste very good when added correctly to other recipes. Again, it's like buttermilk--you may have to develop a 'taste' for it, or you may absolutely love it. I recommend either trying a smaller version first to determine if it's for you, and experimenting in different recipes to find an agreeable method that pleases your taste buds. Also, less many times can be best, so start out at a smaller dosage then work up to the recommended amount. First impressions are lasting, so tread lightly to be sure it's the 'green' for you! But I would recommend this for it's overall health benefits, as a little dab will do ya!

I am so happy with this purchase. I don't eat the healthiest and need a product that helps provide my body with the nutrients it needs. I don't like pill form supplements because often times they are filled with fillers, that once finally digested, there is little to no nutritional value.

Wheat grass offers so many benefits and I've heard it over and over again. I always thought it was extremely expensive though, so I really never thoroughly did my research to make the purchase. I was at a flea market in Florida and a vendor over heard me taking about being a Breast Cancer Survivor and she told me to start drinking wheat grass immediately! She educated me on the benefits and why it's so good for our body. It helps to alkalize the body, which is pertinent for me because cancer thrives in an acidic atmosphere and cannot survive in a well alkalized body. She told me that this is the brand that she uses and swears by. She said it gives her increased energy, focus, and all around just makes her feel better.

The directions state to mix with 8 ounces of water or mix into a smoothie. If you've never had any form of protein powder or powder form greens, this may be a bit hard for you to get used to. It's gritty and I'm not going to lie, it tastes like grass. It is so worth it though because of the benefits it offers the body. For me, mixing it with 8 ounces of water is just too painstaking. I usually mix it with 2 ounces of water and chug away.

I've been taking it for 7 days now and I can honestly say that I have more energy than I have in a long time. I'm normally very lethargic, lack motivation, have no desire to work out, etc. I wasn't sure if it was working or not until I forgot to take it one day and I couldn't believe how I felt. I was back to my sluggish self.

Every morning, while I am waiting for my coffee to brew, I mix it up and chug it down. I have found that I drink far less coffee now that I did before I started taking it. Most days now I can barely finish one cup of coffee.

In the last 2 days, I've biked and walked over 10 miles. I haven't walked 10 miles in the last 3 months combined. It's a great start to the day. I love the fact that it's Organic, USDA Certified, Non GMO, Vegan and Gluten free. With so many products on the market these days, it is important to know what we are putting into our bodies.

I highly recommend this for anyone and everyone. It contains essential vitamins and minerals the body needs and it keeps the body alkalized. For an added boost, mix it with alkaline water instead of regular water.

A bit of background: I (28F) have had major energy issues since HS due to chronic illness (mental health related). I also have bouts of insomnia regularly which doesn't help obviously. I first tried wheat grass out of curiosity because it was free. It was a fresh flash frozen shot that was already mixed with liquid from Whole Foods, not powder. I really liked the energy effects and avoided using anything else because I assumed that a powdered version would be "weaker". I decided to say fudge it and get this because I could just put it in my shakes and it's cheaper. I am SO GLAD I did!

Cons: Taste is really bad. The first time I used it I had a major bathroom emergency but from day 2 on I haven't had that issue again. Don't drink too late in the day or you might have trouble settling down for sleep.

Pros: It is NOT weaker! It's stronger!! I literally don't need coffee anymore. I went from drinking an actual pot of coffee per day (not an exaggeration), or more, to not needing it at all and feeling much better than I did with the coffee. I think I had 2 drinks of my morning coffee today just because I felt bad for making it and not drinking it lol.

I did put this in my protein shakes at first (protein powder, frozen fruit, water, ground chia seeds, scoop of wheat grass) but honestly the taste made it not great so I started just putting a scoop into a glass of water in the morning and drinking it first thing and it WAKES ME UP.

I'm on day 5 of using it and honestly it's been a miracle for me. I have written maybe one review ever (there was some get $ off if you do thing) but I had to come on just to write a review of this.

If you suffer from insomnia or mental health issues that make you tired, PLEASE try this! xx
